“The children are always ours…all over the globe”. What an incredible experience to bring donated equipment and share our love of jiujitsu to the beautiful people throughout the Philippines.

I couldn’t afford a jiujitsu membership when I was younger, flooded with negativity about sports participation, career goals, becoming a doctor.

To the children over the world,
You can.
You will.

See you next time.
Thank you @alexayaness @thegroundworkfoundation for all you do for children and people all over the world. Thank you for allowing to me to share my love for unifying community through jiujitsu. @dwightlloyd @pinoypandabjj @brian__marvin @erinstandage @andyramireztx7 @senoritajiujitsu @tyywithrow @eightytworising @newground.cebu @alliancejiujitsumanila #jiujitsu #jiujitsulifestyle #girlsingis

I just wanna give Prof. @normster25 & the whole @thegroundworkfoundation a huge shoutout for allowing me to be part of such an amazing event.
It was the best feeling in the world to have my family there watching me do what I love to do. Being able to give back to the Filipino Community through Jiu-Jitsu has been one of my most proudest achievements in life. Making my 95 year old Lola proud & happy of her apo made this whole trip worth it ❤️

Thank you to everyone at @newground.cebu and hope you guys enjoyed the seminar!!! 🥋

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to join @thegroundworkfoundation x @eightytworising in bringing jiu-jitsu to the community in Davao.

I’ve had the privilege of serving with many organizations before, this experience felt truly special.
Returning to my roots, answering a calling to serve the youth in the motherland, fills my heart with gratitude and purpose. A full-circle moment.🇵🇭🙏🏽

Meeting everyone on the mat for the first time and still feeling that sense of family is a feeling that is hard to put into words.

Putting gis in the hands of the next generation, seeing them roll and embrace the art of jiu-jitsu is incredible. Building community is the true purpose of the mission.

Maraming salamat to everyone who made this possible.

Sometimes God places a calling in our heart that we don’t fully understand but yet feel so compelled to follow. Even when it doesn’t make sense but you can’t let it go, you lose sleep, you lose sanity, you lose everything you know for the sake of finding what it is. We must answer to it and trust it wholeheartedly

When we respond with faith, that is the truest form of service to God. Trusting what He has planted within us, even if the path brings pain and solitude; we will always receive more because we had the courage to seek something beyond ourselves.

I constantly replay the story I tell myself and the reason why. I’ve been waking up every day, reanalyzing and reassessing the constant changes and I’m grateful and blessed to have the vision to see beyond this moment
