We didn’t make it to Olivia Dean this week… did you? 😂 But we DID make it back to @riverlandbar, and it was perfection! ☀️

This Melbourne icon has been serving up fabulous food, cocktails, drinks and those unbeatable Yarra River views for more than 20 years — and it’s easy to see why it’s still such a favourite.

We headed to Riverland for dinner tonight while Ava was at Ballkid training at Melbourne Park and the venue was absolutely pumping, with so many Melburnians out enjoying the sunshine and soaking up that gorgeous riverside atmosphere.

My Classic Margarita and Pan-Seared Snapper with kipfler potato, green & butter beans and chermoula were both SO good.

Alex gave his cheeseburger and Choc Top a very serious 10/10. 🍔🍦

We love you, Riverland. Here’s to another 20 years of good food, great drinks, sunshine and quintessentially Melbourne moments. 🙌

If you’re looking for a spot with good food, great drinks and that lively sports-pub atmosphere, add @goldiestavernbrisbane West End to your list! 🏉🍻✨

Such a fun vibe for catching up with friends, watching the game or just settling in for a proper feed. We tried the fried calamari, 250g steak, creamy pasta carbonara and their loaded nachos honestly, such a good spread! 🤤

And of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert! The brownie sundae was an absolute highlight warm, chocolatey, indulgent and basically everything you want in a dessert🍨

Whether you’re coming for the game day atmosphere, a casual dinner or a night out with friends, Goldie’s Tavern is definitely one to check out in West End! 💛

Iconic Melbourne pub with plenty of character and an elevated menu 🔥

We headed to 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 - Classic old-school pub vibes, a great atmosphere and an elevated menu that goes well beyond your standard pub favourites.

The Angus tenderloin and the Wagyu Lasagna Special (I’d love to see this one added to the regular menu!) were the absolute 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦 and I loved seeing some solid gluten-free options on the menu too 🙌🏽

𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 🍽️
• Cheesy sourdough • Josdale Angus grass fed tenderloin MB2+ – medium cos I don’t do still MOO-ing (chefs pls don’t come for me 😆)
• Peppercorn sauce • Wagyu Lasagna (special) • Cheese & cherry tomato pizza – GF • Kids spaghetti bolognese – GF • Crème brûlée • Aperol Spritz • Espresso Martini

They also dry-age their steaks in-house and the steak here is amazing.

Of course, no pub visit is complete without a couple of cocktails and something sweet to finish.

September was a very mixed bag but amongst it all it was busy, colourful and considerably more eventful than my camera roll had any business documenting.

Lots of events, an annual girls’ trip, a staycation, very good food and enough beauty unboxings to make opening a parcel feel like a full-time job.

A mixed bag of a month, but these were some of the bits I’m glad I got to have. 🤍

A newly renovated Gold Coast pub worth knowing about 👀

Good food, plenty of space and the kind of spot that works for everything from a midweek dinner to a Sunday afternoon watching live sport in the beer garden.

Runaway Bay Tavern has recently finished their renovations and not only is the place stunning, the food and drinks were even better!

Four kitchens. One table. And absolutely no need to agree on what you’re having to eat! @thecollectivepalmbeach brings together four different kitchens, so you can mix and match depending on what you’re in the mood for.

We went for an Italian feast, with pizza, pasta and garlic bread, and if you’re there on a Wednesday, the pizzas and pastas are just $19! Then we added bao buns and karaage chicken from the Asian kitchen.

The best option for groups, families, or just those nights when everyone wants something different!

And yes, there’s dessert too! There are different dining specials throughout the week, plus cocktails and even a kids’ colouring in competition.

Pick your kitchen, pick your meal, and let everyone at the table order exactly what they want.
