This is what date night looks like in your 40s. Low key Broadway comedy, followed by low key burger from @burgerjointnyc @jennyslate is a national treasure and @gracie is pure joy embodied. Thank you @sensitive_eric my love for you experiencing life with me 😘

For the last several weeks my husband has been hinting that he was working on a painting for me for Christmas. I thought it was going to be of our dog, Toby Too.

It wasn’t.

He painted his wife - who he knows wants to be an action hero and is currently training in stunts - into a movie poster with @jasonstratham The Transporter franchise obviously needs to come out of retirement after 10 years so this movie can be made. I hope you’re listening @lucbesson

Let it also be known that he was very particular and meticulous in the way this painting was captured on film for this post.

“Transporter5:
No Brakes, No Mercy”
Starring Jason Stratham & Danielle Legris,
Oil on plastic on canvas,
30x24in
2025

Merry Christmas y’all.

We are @bonheurpainters ~ Bonheur Painters is a collaborative painting practice by

Patrick Shoemaker
(b. 1982 Salt Lake City, Utah)
&
Eric Legris
(b. 1981 Lubec, Maine)

Our project is to sustain a painting practice together that satisfies our individual painting values. The number 4 has a recurring presence within recent paintings. How do two artists make a painting they both want to look at afterwards?

These paintings are a way to study color.

The color pallet is found through a combination of existing color relationships we find in paintings we admire mixed with a fair amount of test samples we do prior to painting.

One of our favorites,
