What’s up everyone? We are back again for another week’s review. This week I got my first dub in Fornite with Eli. low-key had to carry, but that’s just what I do. Cam and I went to dinner with Branson at Olive Garden, and the food was so good. I especially enjoyed the breadsticks dipped in Alfredo sauce. Saturday, I hung out late with my roommates, and we went to Taco Bell. The lady at the window did not like me, but that’s fine. I can’t win them all. I took the ACT that morning at 8, and it was not fun. Hopefully, we did well on it, but it could have gone either way. We slept in on Sunday and went shopping at Target. I bought a onesie and some pajama pants. Sunday evening, we watched Batman, and that was so fire. That night, I invited a lot of people out to Mellow Mushroom for my birthday dinner. After dinner, EJ bought me a birthday cookie cake, and we ate it and hung out in the dining hall. It was a really fun birthday, and I was very glad to share it with friends. Monday was a normal schedule; we had Manhood Monday, and Bones talked to us, and it was a chill day. Practice was good and wasn’t as hard as it normally is on Mondays. Tuesday I was the same, but that evening I went to work with Titus, and we worked on my jump shot and transition threes. Tester, we had our activity, which was putting glass in a frame to make an image or whatever we wanted. That evening, we were back in the gym for another workout. After, I went to the nest to rest my legs and watch some college games. Today we played United and lost. They guys played well versus a top prep school and had a chance to win it down the stretch. We came back and hung out in the dining hall, ate pizza, and I am currently watching a movie and typing this. I will keep all my avid readers posted next week with another review. Until then, JL is signing out. One personal takeaway that correlates with this week’s pillar is heart transformation. When we are broken, God can use our brokenness to help minister to others and put us back together. I think of a stained-glass window. All the little broken pieces by themselves are mostly worthless, but when arranged correctly, they can form a beautiful image.

hey y’alllll guess who’s back with another recap of my week here at link?? you guessed it! it’s totally me. so to start off, this week has been sooo good but definitely crazy. our weekly T.G.I.F. was a scavenger hunt this time and lemme just say that it was a wild one. we did so many things from chugging a can of green tea to releasing a goldfish into taneycomo lake. now that was sad. poor little fish. anyways, we didn’t win, we actually came in dead last. hahaha how embarrassing but we still all had fun. then after that, i went to silver dollar city yet again and faced another big fear and was finally convinced to ride the barn swing but i will say i’ll never ever do that again. it was crazy and my heart and stomach left my body. but enough of that, this week in class we learned about what it means to be a Student of Scripture and how important it is for us to be in the word daily and how we are to meditate on what God wants us to hear and dwell on daily. Donyes gave us a lot of scripture references that i cannot wait to look up and dwell on so that i can apply them to my life for the areas that i struggle with and more. then to get some idea of what we learned in class, we all went caving yesterday which was insane. i had never been spelunking before but i had an amazing time and the inside of the caves were incredible and worth the hype. i will say i did get a little tight in some areas which was a little uncomfortable but i wouldn’t change the trip one bit for the world. it is something i’ll always remember and a memory from link year i’ll carry for a lifetime. anyways,i think that about sums up my week here at link. love you guys!!! until next week!!
