Virginia FCCLA,

Since SLRC, I have found myself reminiscing deeply on all that I have learned and experienced throughout my time as a state officer. Although it is incredibly sad that my term has come to an end, the joy, growth, and memories I have gained are truly immeasurable and will remain with me for a lifetime.

To my State Officer Team: Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and becoming some of the most extraordinary individuals I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Each of you has impacted me in ways I cannot fully put into words, helping me discover not only my purpose within FCCLA, but also a deeper understanding of myself. I love you all more than I can express, and I will forever carry your influence and our memories close to my heart.

To Virginia FCCLA: Thank you for entrusting me with the honor of serving as your Vice President of Parliamentary Law. This role has shaped me, challenged me, and inspired me beyond measure. It is an experience I will never take for granted, and I will remain endlessly grateful for every opportunity, every connection, and every moment that has defined this journey.

Virginia FCCLA, thank you for everything. Thank you for your support of me throughout all my years as a member and a state officer, and thank you for supporting me throughout my National Officer term. I want to thank my parents, the rest of my family, state staff, and everyone from all of my past SEC’s for always being there for me and supporting me. While this might have been my last SLRC as a member, I look forward to coming back as an alumni to continue supporting FCCLA. Now, I’m getting ready for the 2026 National Leadership Conference in Washington DC, July 6th-10th. I can’t wait to see everyone there! #fccla #vafccla #slrc26

Virginia FCCLA,
Thank you for giving me a year that I’ll carry in my heart forever. Serving as your 2025-2026 State President was truly the greatest honor of my life. Everyone that showed up this week and “Got their Game On” has truly impressed me. You have shaped me into a better person, leader, and individual. I am forever grateful. Thank you.

To my team: Senya, Payton, Emma, Brynn, Joseph, Cameron, Jude, thank you for making this year a core memory in my FCCLA memory box. You all are my people, thank you for being more than just a team. You were my strength, my encouragement, and the reason I never gave up. I wouldn’t be here without you.

To Ms. Miller: My second mom and someone I feel closest to, thank you for being in my life since 6th grade. Now as an 11th grader, I can’t imagine this journey without you. You’ve been through every high, every low, every stressful moment, and every win with me. You always know exactly what to say and how to push me forward. You are my biggest supporter. I love that I can always trust you to be in my corner.

To the State Staff: Thank you for always being there with guidance, support, and patience. From answering every question, to giving us opportunities to grow as well as sharing laughs and jokes along the way. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for myself and my team. Your actions truly reflect how much you love Virginia FCCLA.

To the VA FCCLA Members: Thank you. Thank you for seeing something me and trusting me to lead our delegation. You saw this even when sometimes I didn’t see it in myself. You are my inspiration and my purpose.

To my family: Thank you for constantly showing up for me, even if it meant rearranging your own time. I wouldn’t be here without everything you’ve given up for me. I cannot overstate the gratitude I feel for your sacrifice.

To my friends: Thank you for listening to all my FCCLA rants, even when it felt unending. Through every stressful moment, every tear, every late night and missed moment, you were still there for me. This means everything.

“The hardest goodbyes come from the most beautiful memories”

Thank you @virginiafccla for entrusting me to serve as your Vice President of Competitive Events. It’s crazy how 5 years can make a difference. Never would I have imagined that when I attended my first state conference is 2022 that I would be where I am today. I may be stepping down as a state officer but I’m not stepping away from FCCLA. Not even close. This organization has truly changed me for the better and given me a place to call home.

This year has helped me realize that it’s the little moments that matter the most. It’s the late night laughs, early mornings and so much more. This year has brought me some of my best friends and moments I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Thank you Virginia FCCLA for every moment, memory and lesson that I’ll carry with me forever. I’ll never forget this year and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Winter Meeting with the Virginia FCCLA State Executive Council! ❄️🤍

This weekend provided the opportunity to collaborate, reflect, and finalize important plans for the State Leadership and Recognition Conference. Through thoughtful discussion and intentional planning, our team worked together to ensure SLRC will be a meaningful and impactful experience for FCCLA members across the state. I am so grateful for the dedication, leadership, and commitment of this council as we continue working to serve and uplift our organization.

Our Virginia State Executive Council meeting was filled with learning, laughter, and so much growth as I kicked off CTE Month with the very best team. We spent the day connecting, sharing ideas, and getting excited as we prepared for our upcoming State Leadership Conference. So grateful for this amazing group and everything we’re building together!❤️🤍

In honor of state conference only being 70 days away, I want to share some phrases I base my leadership around! 💕

CTE is about showing up when it’s really necessary!

Today I had the honor of attending the 75th gubernatorial inauguration! We marched with FFA, FBLA, SkillsUSA, DECA, TSA, and HOSA to show Richmond how CTE is forming leaders across the commonwealth. Today we were able to network with CTSO state officers who have the same passion for CTE as us!

At Capitol leadership, I was able to attend with the patriot FCCLA chapter, and it was amazing! I was able to network with FCCLA members and officers from across the nation as we each embarked on our own journey talking to our representatives! I was able to meet with congressman Subramanyam, and the congressional aide of congresswoman Jennifer McClellen. We also learned that even though FCCLA isn’t about politics, we have to stand up to advocate for CTE!

Both events have taught me the importance of people, bonds, and collaboration are some of the most special memories!

Congratulations to Virginia’s 75th Governor Abigail Spanberger! Thanks to the Governor for inviting us to participate in the inaugural parade, I had such a wonderful experience!
