What a magical place. Thank you to everyone who danced with me and made it special. I played the closing slot on the first night and decided to stay until the very end on Monday morning, because I simply couldn’t leave.

🎙️ Beim BACKSTAGE TALK mit Café Soda & HUNGRY4 war vor allem eines spürbar: eine neugierige, engagierte Community, die nicht aufgibt.

Gespräche wie diese, mit und für Kulturschaffende, öffnen Räume in denen Wissen geteilt, Perspektiven erweitert und neue Ideen geboren werden. Sie bleiben hängen – weil sie ehrlich sind. Und weil sie uns daran erinnern, warum wir überhaupt angefangen haben.

Wir sprachen mit den Gründern - Jan Grashorn [ @cafesoda ] und Jean Mauj [ @hungry4_ ] - über Eventproduktion, Budgeting, Booking, die Kommerzialisierung von Subkultur, Community-Building und die Zukunft unserer Event-Industrie sowie der House-Musik.

Im Fokus: Welche Stolpersteine wir als VeranstalterInnen in Hamburg haben, und wie wir sie bewältigen könnten - anhand der Learnings unserer Gäste. Die besondere Perspektive von HUNGRY4 aus Portugal liefert uns auch interessante Einblicke in die Veranstaltungswelt über Hamburg hinaus und hilft, den Kurs in unserer eigenen Atmosphäre mit einzigartigen Ideen in eine andere, nachhaltige Richtung zu lenken.

Die Fragen aus dem Publikum haben zudem gezeigt, wie groß der Bedarf nach oﬀenem Austausch, Transparenz und kollektiven Learnings ist.

funny gig story: I played at Pâvoia Festival and it was starting to rain during my set,
but I didn’t want to lose the crowd.
So I invited everybody into the booth, I offered some drinks and we had a great little party there.
Great, lovely, intimate festival btw.

👀… honestly, we‘ve been trying to find the right words for this post in the past few hours. But how? How can we put in words, what we‘ve experienced over the last four days with each and everyone of you? We‘ve been through some rough times in the past months. On some days, we were not 100% sure how or if PÂVOIA 2025 will actually happen. And then you arrive. And then you smile. And you dance. And you share, you love, you cry, you sing and you are the most honest and pure version of yourselves. Dear citizens, you are the reason why we exist and why we keep fighting for a world in which small festivals can survive and create safe spaces for everyone. This weekend has shown us once more that it’s worth fighting. So let’s keep fighting. Thank you everyone, from the bottom of our hearts. To you as our guests, to our whole volunteer & core team and to our Polish crew. PÂVOIA needs all of you to keep doing what we‘re doing. Let‘s not stop here. Let‘s not stop building roots, which have become stronger and stronger over the past six years. See you soon! 🤍 your PÂVOIA team

Was ein Tenor-Tag 2025!
Es schreit nach einer Wiederholung. Nachdem wir uns um 11 in der Villa bei @sunshine_wemakefilms eingetroffen haben, ging das Battle mit folgenden Spielen los:
-Tumblin Dice
-Passe-Trappe
-Ringing the Bull - Tischvariante
-Nagelspiel
-Kletterpfad
-Beat the 8 Ball
-X-Duell
-Hitster
Dann ging’s auf die @barkasse.st.pauli und wir starteten eine Runde
-Times Up
Nach @trattoria.remos ging’s zum Finale in unser @diehamburgergoldkehlchen Clubhaus, um den Abend dann in der @thaioase traditionell ausklingen zu lassen.

One quiet Sunday, not too long ago the very clever duo of Alex and Sören rented a super venue, put on a very special event and invited the music connections we know to connect and share what we love, our music. Rediculous venue pictured from outside in the last pic. These vids were all taken inside (or just outside) that small Green ‘Wartenhauschen’ translated as a small waiting house on the pier. Surrounded by water, historic boats and a working ferry stop. Eternal gratitude 🙏. And to the new friends and connections , super happy to meet you all and thanks for the laughs. Let’s make magic.
