🇺🇸 USDGC – T17th place

My third USDGC in the books and my best finish at Winthrop so far!🫡
Solid golf throughout the week, battling through some crazy weather conditions along the way🌧️💨 Had a great opportunity to break into the top 10, but a few missed putts down the stretch ended up costing me some spots😥 Still, plenty of positives to take away from the week!

It’s always a honor to compete at this event, and I already can’t wait to be back next year!🇺🇸

Big thanks to @seppopaju for being on the bag for a couple of rounds! Your help was especially valuable during round 3🙏🏻

A full season recap is coming soon, but for now, it’s time for some well-deserved rest after a long season😌

And of course, a massive thank you to my amazing sponsors for making all of this possible! Couldn’t do it without you🙏🏻❤️

My fourth @usdgc in the books and never a dull moment. Always fun to reconnect with my disc golf homies, you know who you are!

My boy @daniel_davidsson03 got his first major lead card, @chain_antagonist knocked me out of the Slow Play putting comp again, weather kept things interesting, business mogul @bearbitedisc made an appearance, watched my bro @nestorituhkanen birdie 4 in a row during a torrential downpour, met the legend @seppopaju (been a fav since the first pro card I ever followed at Iron Hill when I started), goofed with @lainehei & @sasseli AND I may or may not have acquired a @ysl frisbee 💸

USDGC2026🇺🇸✅

Not the outcome I had hoped for or one I would be truly proud of, but an experience I will never forget.❤️

Thank you to the boys for an unforgettable trip! 🙌🌎

Back to work🔥

Check this out. I’m sure there is many ways to do this, but this is how I turn a clear Captain’s Caliber into a nice pink/blue tint. Looks stunning. Feel free to ask me questions or give me some suggestions on how to improve. The results may vary depending on discs and plastic. Make sure to have fun. Use the colors you like.

This week, I played in the USDGC Monday Qualifier. It was the most fun, difficult, and intense round of disc golf I have ever played. I had a sick card with the legendary Seppo Paju, Tournament Director and Ambassador Chad Sullivan, and my good friend Lowell Marker. I started out with a double bogey on the third hole, but I was able to get those strokes right back, grabbing birds on holes 5 and 6 with huge drives and putts. It was downhill after that, with some misfires that led to missed mandos and repeat shots from the drop zones. My tournament officially ended on hole 12, where I carded a 17. My game plan was to play this hole for par, and in pursuit of that, I pulled my second shot ever so slightly, resulting in my disc being out of bounds by 2-3 feet. That took me to the drop zone that I foolishly chose not to practice, as I had never needed to throw from it during practice rounds. From then on, I unloaded 5 shots, which were all met with red flags, before I finally had to pitch up to the left and get off the hole. It was a poor choice not to practice that drop zone, and it was a poor choice not to get back to the game plan and pitch up immediately for a potential 6 after missing my second shot. After that, I still tried to finish out properly and got a good birdie on 16 with a great forehand destroyer over OB to C1. Despite the result, I had an amazing weekend and cannot wait for next year to run it back. And a massive thanks to Matt, my good friend and videographer, for coming with me on this trip and filming everything.

@seppopaju is back for his 10th visit to Rock Hill to compete in the USDGC, dating back to 2010!

We had to let him test out our new ESP Jawbreaker Terminator that is dropping here at @usdgc and as you can tell, these things are stable bombers! 🦾

Once the wind picks up, you’ll be glad to have one of these Terms in the bag 💣

Dropping Thursday, 10/8 at the USDGC Vender Village and online at resistancediscs.com 👀
