We had such a wonderful time creating these floral arrangements for Jordan’s sports themed Bar Mitzvah!
How fabs are the football + basketball vases?! 🏈🏀

It’s always a joy collaborating with the talented Lisa Feldman + her exceptional team. Thank you for believing in me , Lisa ❤️

There’s something about Filoli at golden hour… ✨
An intimate table, layered textures, and florals designed to feel effortless.

We loved bringing this dinner to life — thank you @hmsue for trusting us 🤍🥂🧿

Last night, the entire #ccsffloristry class did a phenomenal job!! The wedding class was full of flowers, alumni, and busy working students.

Groups of students worked with an alumni team lead to help execute a wedding brief (arch/show piece, centerpiece, decorate a cake, make a plant like arrangement). Thank you to @noveltylei, @linawoo5, @floralswithgrace, and Lily for coming into the class to share your wisdom with the class.

Please let me know if you want to be tagged!! We tried to best remember who worked on what. It was such a full class!!

📣 Please give public comment (on items not on the agenda) to help advocate for our department! We are a very in-demand vocational program that is severely understaffed.

We need our administrators and Chancellor to not delay our education even further. Our voices can affect change. The Fall schedule has not been determined, but sole teacher in our program cannot provide the classes we need to continue our finish our program/certifications.

Use your voice to give public comments, email the Trustees and Chancellor, ask them why they haven’t done anything to help us yet?

Our @ccsf.student.trustee says if anyone has any issues with giving public comment remotely, you can contact Student Trustee Villalobos for assistance! Thank you!!

The meeting will be conducted as follows for public commenters:
Requests to make public comments must be submitted in advance, no later than 30 minutes before the start of the meeting, via email to: publiccomment@ccsf.edu or via phone to: 669.444.1266.

Please submit the following information:
1. Name
2. Meeting Name and Date
3. Agenda Item Number
4. Phone number if participating by phone

When your public comment request has been received, you will receive an email with a link to the Zoom to make public comment. At the appropriate time the speaker will be unmuted. Requests to make public comment should be submitted in writing to publiccomment@ccsf.edu or by phone to 669.444.1266 30 minutes prior to the meeting start time.
**Please note: Any person speaking during a public comment period may supply a brief written summary of their comments, which shall, if no more than 150 words, be included in the minutes. When you write a really thoughtful caption about the class this week, how to give public comment on Thursday, March 23’s Board of Trustees meeting to advocate rehiring our staff, and it doesn’t get posted. 🫠

Thank you @noveltylei for gifting the class with the gorgeous lilies and for sharing your wisdom with this. We’re grateful for the help and inspiration on how you operate your floral business here in the Bay Area.

Please continue to email Trustees, Chancellor, and our student representatives about rehiring for our severely understaffed, in demand vocational program! Our Department Chair is the only teacher and we are extremely limited to the class load he can teach/offer. We need more teachers so we can have classes and get our vocational training/certificates!
