🎁 birthday stack #thisis38 🌴 Had the absolute pleasure of touring @palm__sunday’s studio and walked away with a North Star ✨ charm and a OOAK palm engraved band (pictured next to my mom’s giant tsavorite/diamond ring). Thank you for such a special experience, Lauren. 💌 Also treated myself to a @goodluck_handmade custom charm (BEAR for my baby). I love how my vintage, articulated 🐻 is climbing up the chain. 🐾 @locketdogs did too good of a job on my Coalie’s portrait because my husband stole it, so now I have to order another one OH NO. 🧸 My jeweler gifted me the sterling silver teddy charm bracelet and offered to teach me everything he knows 😭 #JOTD #solidgoldseraph

🫀This one is suuuuper special to me. I had originally had my eye on Elizabeth’s earrings in Garnet (from The Body Collection in 2024). Before I could save up enough, they sold out. And so did my own body. She let go of a second pregnancy, but this time in a much more traumatic way. It was a difficult time, but my heart 🫀 was still in it—albeit often tentatively, as we witnessed some frightening goings on in our country. And so, on Easter Sunday of this year, Baby Bear made his debut and pushed his way into my heart 🫀 I was so lucky to be able to snag this stunning pendant during @themoonstoned last chance sale (and you still can, too!) in Carnelian. For me, it symbolizes a whole journey. 🫀 In the designer’s words: “I chose carved hearts to tell my own story of Motherhood... There is no amount of words strung together, no emotions powerful enough to convey the overwhelming complexities of what Motherhood entails. The heart exploding joy, the rock pit of fear, the chaos and healing in moments of stillness… I remember that I am a beautiful mother. Throwback to Cardiff and a few official race photos that remind me why I love this running community. 🫶🏾

Around mile 10, I met Sera. We walked and talked for a bit, and by mile 11, I asked if she wanted to try some run-walk intervals to the finish. She said yes.

I needed that accountability as much as she did. It reminded me why I love this running community: we lift each other up when it gets hard. Later I learned she’d donated to my fundraiser and called me her “angel-coach.” The truth is, she helped me just as much as I helped her.

Cardiff has that kind of energy: supportive, genuine, and unforgettable.

Speaking of Cardiff, all of the emails for 2026 have now been sent. If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to get an entry, don’t despair. You aren’t necessarily out of the race yet.
