POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬!

If you’re new here, this is my story in ten slides.

Attorney by day. Cowboy Rebel by, FOREVER!🤘😤

I started running in 2020, the year I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer, and I haven’t really stopped since. She inspired me to live to the fullest, and to push my body beyond its limits… I just don’t want to die one day wondering what I could’ve done, you know?

So, one Comrades, a few marathons, a whole lot of falling off the horse later… here I am! 👋🥹

Somewhere along the way it stopped being about me. Athlétique, the Révénge Run, the Pure Rebels — it all comes back to one thing:-

~ 𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙘𝙖𝙣. 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙣’𝙩.

I want to inspire you to believe that you can achieve anything that you put your mind and heart into 🙌 and while you’re doing that, be a F***ING 𝐑𝐄𝐁𝐄𝐋!🤘😤

That’s it. See you on the road.

𝒀𝑬𝑬𝑯𝑨𝑾!🤠

𝐀 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐌𝐄:

Not the Instagram version — the one where I fell off the horse about nine times, got injured twice, DNS’d a marathon, DNF’d big training runs, caught laryngitis and a peroneal tendon injury just weeks out from Comrades, and still ended up screaming like a lunatic across a finish line in Pietermaritzburg.

Turns out you learn more from failing than from winning at running.

𝙎𝙒𝙄𝙋𝙀—> 🤠

𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃!

And it always will be. The quicker you realise that, the better off you will be. After all, if it wasn’t hard, none of it would really be worth it…

𝐁𝐄 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐄

The road remains undefeated. I’ve tested this personally, multiple times, at significant cost.

𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐉𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃

Turns out “just run through it” is not a recognised rehab protocol. Who knew. (Everyone. Everyone knew.)

𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐅𝐔𝐍

Rest day. Friends. Beers. No notes. The training plan will survive without you for one evening.

WE ONLY LIVE ONCE!

𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐋

Cheaper than therapy. Not a replacement for therapy. But on the days you can’t say the thing out loud, you can at least go and run it out of your system.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐘 𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐗𝐘

This one isn’t mine — it’s @inspirebystrides ’s, and it’s the truest thing anyone’s said about a sport. Not the heroic session. The ordinary one, done again and again… AND AGAIN!

𝐃𝐎 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒

Don’t be afraid to push yourself. Then get humbled doing it. Every single time. That’s the deal, and honestly, that’s the whole point of it.

𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒

Nobody ever takes their STRAVA PBs to the grave with them, or etches them into the stone. Turns out, life is really just about living. Be a Rebel. Be Yourself.

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐈𝐍’𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐎

KEEP GOING! One foot in front of the other. AND JUST BELIEVE.

See you out there! 𝒀𝑬𝑬𝑯𝑨𝑾! 🤠

New look, same energy⚡

We’re stoked to have Chris joining the Stereo Club family as our new guitarist!

We know the kind of caliber and talent he brings to the room (and peep that face card 👀) we couldn't be more excited to see what we cook up together 🔥

It’s a new chapter for us, and we’re just getting started. Welcome @seratonin_thief ! 🎉🪩

Stay put for our first outing 😘

This Men’s Health Month, we ran for something bigger than the kilometres.

Mental health struggles often happen in silence, and too many men feel like they have to carry the weight alone.

This run was a reminder that they don’t have to.

Every conversation started, every step taken, and every person who showed up helped send one clear message:

No Man Runs Alone. 💚

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared the journey, and stood together in support of men’s mental health. May this be more than a moment, may it be a reminder to check in, reach out, and keep showing up for one another.
