Y’all ~ on July 1st the Texan boy proposed to the Canadian girl - on Canada Day - in Montana! And she said YES! 💍

We are over the moon thrilled for them! Congratulations, Serena & Colten! ❤️

- Serena made her grand entrance 22(!) years ago today…(and she sure wasn’t quiet about it!)...and life has been better ever since. ❤️

There are so many words to say about my beautiful Serena, but none adequately describe her true beauty. For 22 years now I have watched a spunky little girl turn into a beautifully loving young lady.

Her smile is stunning. Her heart is kind. Her laugh is loud. Her jokes are bad - but make you laugh anyway. Her energy is like drinking all the coffee ever in one day. Her love for Jesus is sincere. Her gifts and talents are wonderfully unique. Her beauty is soul deep. And God sure knew we’d all need her in the world.

My remarkable Serena ~ this is going to be an incredible year. This is a new season to embrace and new journeys await!

You are deeply loved. Never lose sight of the Mighty hands that are holding you so tight and leading you through every adventure. God has made this masterpiece gift of YOU!

So, take on this precious 22nd year with your fabulous gusto & live•laugh•&•love to the very fullest.

Shine on, my beautiful daughter! 🩷

• I love you
