Creativity + leadership = a powerful future ✨

Congrats to Serena Hepner ’29, one of our 2026 Legacy Scholarship recipients!

Serena, from Martinsburg, West Virginia, is pursuing two majors at Shenandoah University: Business Administration (BBA) with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Dance (BFA). She’s combining passion, discipline, and purpose to build a lasting legacy.

She chose business to gain leadership and financial skills that can help her succeed in the arts and beyond. She defines legacy as the impact we leave through our actions, values, and how we lift others up.

We’re proud to celebrate you, Serena! 💛💙

GËMŠTØNË

Here is my second piece I’ve ever choreographed by myself. Shoutout to Surreal and Choreo Cabaret for allowing me to show my art on stage. Coming to college I was worried about making choreography but now I understand that if you have a concept the best thing to do is get it on stage. So I am here to proudly present to you… GËMŠTØNË

Music: Gemstone by @dontoliver
Choreo: @thelancelemonjr
DANCERS: @bubbles__221 @serena_hepner @abby.daviis @avaadiana @munch1e_345 @laaylaysp_

Dedicated to my OG hiphop teacher, Juan Mamboyo. Who taught me to find your peace within yourself, lose your mind, and have fun doing it. 🫡🫡 @juan_g_mambo
