WOMEN

I am daily grateful for the women in my life, raised with 3 sisters, two cousins like sisters, my mum, two aunties and my matriarch grandma - life felt a lot like one big women’s circle. ⭕️

I’ve carried this richness into my adult life and am regularly in awe and touched by the power of the women who surround me - near and far.

As I move towards motherhood the support and love of all the women in my life is of most importance ❤️

My commitment to working and support women becomes deeper and stronger - as I take a sacred pause to honor the threshold crossing of motherhood - the dreams of women’s work stirs deep within.

For now, celebrating the beautiful community of women in my family, women’s circles, twerk community and herbal family 🌿✨❤️

I sincerely appeal to everyone who can help us in these very hard circumstances. My room was destroyed by the bombing, and I only need some wood and plastic sheets to close it and protect myself and my family from the cold and rain. Still soaking in the love and celebration of getting married to my love @thehoofhero last Friday in the best company of our families and dear friends.

Whipping up a wedding in 3 months has been a whirlwind but the extended days of celebration, shared meals, dancing, play and connecting was all worth it.

We themed our wedding Hawthorn and Wolf as our new surname blends our family names of Cawthorn and Wolfe. (We will both be Cawthorn-Wolfe)

Everyone dressed in red, green, white, gold and furs and we decorated the space with mistletoe, roses, hawthorn and broom.

We drank local apple juice from @crapesfarmshop and hawthorn brandy I brewed especially.

We enjoyed wedding cake made by my gorgeous mother in law and speeches from 4 women and my new husband.

Rich has a ring with cow hair from the herd he cares for set in it and I have a ring blended of both our grandmas wedding rings.

If you’d told me 5 years ago I’d be pregnant and marrying the love of my life at 33 years old I wouldn’t have believed it.

Beyond happy and grateful for all that everyone gave to be part of our special day.

Now I return for my last 3 months of twerk classes, herbal sauna rituals and sauna work before becoming mother 🫶🏻

We are welcoming wedding gifts on financial contributions towards our doula until Boxing Day.

October highlights 🍁🍂 another month now has passed of my new-ish lifestyle of going back to freelancing, and yep defo still loving it! The variety and sense of freedom/adventure I now have, is so valuable to me. A wrap up of the past month in pics is always fun to look back on.
