NEW MAKE IT PLAIN EDITORIAL BY SERENA RICHARDS OUT NOW Moss Side Black Women Activists: Coca Clarke and Kath Locke - "Black women have often been left to lurk in the shadows when it comes to politics and without any representation on the political stage. “Black women do not get the same recognition as their male counterparts, despite putting in equal effort for political and social freedom”, writes @ceceeexo (Serena Richards) on the erasure of Black women’s contribution to the movement worldwide. In this excellent review of ABC’s Women of the Movement, Richards highlights some of Black women who played important roles in our global struggle for liberation.
