For the past two months I finally started to build my new @seres_studio in my new home out on the nature which I've been renovating for the last 12 months.
The first step I took was to open up the ceiling above the studio to the attic and use the entire attic as a massive base trap/ absorber. 60cm of wood fiber insolation with an 80m2 attic with angled walls behind will give me bass absorbtion down to the lowest sub bass ranges.
Below the wood fiber I added an thin layer of hemp insolation felt to avoid possible air drafts/ heat lost and close gaps for insects etc. Below that partly a hand printed cotton fabric I found in India 2 years ago where I watched it being made in a factory and partly an organic unbleached cotton fabric, mostly for decoration but also to avoid fibres raining on the studio from the hemp.

Rounding off the forthcoming project by @delta__division is none nother than paris based producer, live-performer & sound artist @trois_quarts_taxi_system

As part of a post-covid generation that fully embraces its hybrid style, freeing itself from genre assignments to create complex, hypnotic soundscapes, we're overly excited to have him onboard for a personal take on Strong Be Leaf:

"Rooted in bass, broken rhythms, and experimental detail, the original is reimagined through Trois-Quarts Taxi System’s playful and unpredictable lens—true to the pun-laced, organic spirit running through the release."

The full premiere is now ready to stream with the kind support of @rhythmicculture

GTEP06 is out this Friday - preorder live via Bandcamp 🍁

🍁Introducing GTEP06🍁

It's finally here: the next chapter of our club-oriented series by one of Berlins' bassmusic mainstays.

@delta__division (f.k.a. Giordano) brings already a rich past in electronic music to the table. So it comes as no surprise that his newest project is a a masterclass in textured sound design and deep, evolving bass. Three productions bridge IDM-experimentation with heavyweight grooves, guiding the listener through a spectrum of moods, both intricate and immersive.

Rounding up the project is none other than the parisian magician @trois_quarts_taxi_system whose specialisation in complex, hypnotic polyrhythms turns "Strong Be Leaf" into an uncompromising, meditative trip.

Watch this space for premieres of the full tunes dropping via selected channels.

Pre-orders are now available via Bandcamp & Nina Protocol.

Out October 24th.

Fafazz - Do not go gentle into the dark EP IS OUT now on Funky Freaks Records !

Here is the link :

https://funkyfreaks.bandcamp.com/album/fafazz-do-not-go-gentle-into-the-dark-ep

A whole year has gone by to give birth to what you are about to hear.

If you'd like to get a better understanding of its mysteries, I invite you to read these few lines.

Making psychedelic trance may seem like an art without a voice.

But I refuse to let it be whitout message.

This is the psychedelic representation of an intimate duality between love and anger, resilience and fight. A deep instrospection of a global and paradoxical essence of humanity.

Something soaring, complex, powerful and hypnotic, produced with care and patience

Behind the muted beats and strange frequencies every waveform carries a soul, every vibration an intention.

Let's not lose our love and compassion, no compromise for the soulless.

Do not go gentle into the Dark

Enjoy 🖤
