A very special guest at our Thursday run! ❤️
Yesterday evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming Nina Usubyan @nina_usubyan , one of Armenia’s most accomplished runners, to our NRC warm-up
Fresh from winning both the 5K and half marathon at Yerevan Marathon last weekend, Nina still found time to stop by and say hello, bringing her little one along ❤️
@nina_usubyan , thank you so much for visiting us! It was lovely to see you, and we hope to welcome you again soon

Six months ago, I decided to try something I had always believed wasn’t made for me: running.🏃🏼‍♀️

Today, I realize that the first step toward changing your life is believing in yourself enough to try. ❤️‍🔥

I’ll never forget my first day with @frcyerevan and the three incredible coaches @serge.chagall @mara_runs_ @serge_akhlebinin and my Googooliest ever @shaghig.dewkma who made those first steps easier and helped me fall in love with running. You’ll always have a special place in my heart. 🥹♥️

A few weeks later, three amazing girls came into my life @run.baby.run.club . They ran alongside me on the cold nights of Yerevan, matching my pace and reminding me that I could do it. They became my three sisters @asdghig.jouharian @jebid97 @shaghig.dewkma and some of my best friends, always cheering me on and believing in my growth. 💖💚

And then, there’s the team that was not easy for me to become a part of, but has now become an inseparable part of my life @yerevanrun . The people who constantly challenge me to grow, never let me give up, and genuinely care about my progress. Together, we’ve explored some of Armenia’s toughest trails, and every single member has become a teacher I continue to learn from, wherever in the world they may be. @komch @p_akhrameev 🥹💙🧡❤️

To all of you: thank you for standing by me, believing in me, and helping turn one of the biggest challenges of my life into one of its most beautiful experiences. You’ll always be part of this story. 🥹❤️‍🔥

And thank you, dear @strava , for reminding me every day how far I’ve come, even when I couldn’t see it myself.🧡

Six months ago, I thought running wasn’t for me. Today, I’m dreaming of new trails, new finish lines, and new limits to break. 🏁💪🏼

Maybe that’s the most beautiful lesson running has taught me: you don’t have to believe you can do it from the beginning. You just have to be brave enough to start. 😌✨

Six months down. And I’m so ready for the next six! 🏃🏼‍♀️🔥

📌 Are you getting tired of these long descriptions yet? Don't worry, this is the last one.
Saturday, October 24. Day three of Stage3-100, which is also the Okon-35.🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️A dynamic start (the same as Yell-6), with narrow forest trails, cliffs and caves, followed by a steep, exhausting climb (the same as Apaga-15). And only after climbing the top you run to the places the shorter distances don't reach

Route details:
35 km, ~2000 m of elevation gain, 3 aid stations. Time limit: 8.5 hours

Swipe for full description of the course, but as brief as possible (first 9 km are skipped):
____

🏔...After the climb, a short stretch along dirt roads on top of the ridge, then a descent down one of its side spurs, followed by another climb along the edge of the Koachqar cliffs — bizarrely shaped rock formations sculpted by water and wind. This section ends at the second aid station
___
