Getting married was my 2025 💒 and I Do miss the fun in planning a wedding 😌 I had an idea of what I wanted, a rough budget, and 6 months to plan it all out.

5/31 This almost 9 mile hike with @the.5amcrew proved to be more than just physical exercise - it was a complete refresh for body and spirit. The dawn light, crisp air, and steady rhythm of footsteps created a natural form of meditation, helping shed the weight of daily stress.

Standing at Wisdom Tree, surrounded by panoramic views of Los Angeles, offered a powerful reminder of life’s bigger picture. This wasn’t just about reaching a destination; it was about finding peace and clarity in the journey itself. The early start, while challenging, set a positive tone that carried through the entire day.

May was a wild, beautiful ride. We hiked 15 times, covered 103 miles with 778 hikers and 16 dogs, biked 31 miles with 26 riders, and knocked out 600 push-ups. We made pupusas together, honored moms at the summit with flowers, danced at sunrise, launched new 5am Crew hats, and even hiked Mount Wilson for the first time as a group.

We celebrated birthdays, jumped into waterfalls at the Punch Bowls, rode to Seal Beach for breakfast, and ended the month with one of the most organized hikes to Wisdom Tree yet.

From LACMA jazz nights and art nights coming up, to big hikes and bigger laughs—this community continues to grow in ways I never imagined.

I’m so thankful for every single person who shows up early, supports the crew, volunteers to lead or sweep, and helps make this experience feel safe, strong, and full of heart.

We’ve had hikers fly in from Germany, South Korea, Houston, and San Francisco just to be part of this. People are hiking off their meds, getting healthier, stronger, more confident—and I see it every single week.

This is more than a hiking group. This is transformation, connection, and community in motion.
