🥃✨ BACARDÍ – DE MAESTROS DE RON | VINTAGE MMXII ✨ 🔑 Key Details:
• 🗓 Vintage: MMXII (2012)
• 🥃 ABV: 43%
• 🛢 Aging: Long-aged Bacardí reserves + Cognac cask finish.

This remarkable rum was crafted by eight former Bacardí Master Blenders, all direct descendants of Don Facundo Bacardí Massó. The blend draws from some of the finest casks produced in Bacardí’s Mexican and Puerto Rican operations over the past twenty years, then harmonized in 60-year-old Cognac barrels.

Bacardí de Maestros de Ron Vintage MMXII is housed in a hand-blown, individually numbered crystal decanter, each one finished by hand. A total of 997 decanters were created—600 reserved for the Bacardí family to commemorate the brand’s 150th anniversary, with only 397 bottles released to the public, originally priced around US$2,000.

The design pays tribute to El Coco, the historic coconut palm planted in 1862 outside Bacardí’s first distillery in Santiago de Cuba by Facundo Bacardí Moreau. The palm became a symbol of resilience for the family, especially after it perished in 1960, following the confiscation of Bacardí’s assets and the family’s exile from Cuba. Today, coconut palms stand outside Bacardí facilities worldwide as a reminder of that legacy.

Engraved palm leaves on the decanter neck, paired with a walnut stopper, represent the next generation of El Coco, while the liquid sphere inside symbolizes the seed from which the future grows. Subtle lines etched into the decanter echo the natural split of a coconut as new life begins.

A hand-pressed red crystal bat, engraved coordinates of the original Santiago de Cuba distillery, and a Caribbean map further connect the piece to Bacardí’s origins. The leather presentation case also transforms into an elevated display stand, completing this tribute to heritage, craftsmanship, and continuity. #unidosporelron #rumcollections #bacardi #rum #limited
