" I had the pleasure of showing my latest sound system at @series_paralleles x @designyyj show 4x4 last week. The Wall system is designed modularly so that various components can be added or rearranged. All of the connectors that are usually on the back of equipment are contained on a panel on the front in a sort of "patch bay." With some additional shelves it would be easy to quickly switch between different combinations of preamps, DACs, amplifiers, etc. This system contains a ST-70 type amp, a tube pre-amp, A subwoofer amplifier, a PS audio phono stage preamplifer, and a Technics SL-1100. 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙁𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙝 Silk Tusar & Muga dyed with Carmine, Poplar, Polyurethane wax, Epoxy glue, Foam, Dacron 39” x 14” x 18” After spending a full year living away from friends, family & familiarity, I was inspired to create a piece of furniture that explored loneliness & solitude. Silk is structurally similar to the feeling of skin; this tactility represents intimacy through an object I designed to be shared with another.
