POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Undercurrents is one week away!
This coming together of communities, creators, and seers was seeded in an everyday sort of conversation with Jorge Gallo @asomcmusic about my desire to bring my creations into the world, and rooted over the past year in an evolving vision shared with my dear friend and collaborator Paul Corman-Roberts @cormanroberts.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening honoring what moves us in unseen places—beneath the canopy, encircled by redwoods, where illuminated sculptures, spoken word, subtle movement, ambient washes, and painted marks converge in the present moment.

:full roster for our very first multi-media forest event. For the past 5 years I have been honored to culminate shows in the Oakland Redwoods with amazing artists and musicians. This is an expansion of this vision - bringing a full immersive experience - beyond just witnessing, but living amidst visions and sound of body and light for an evening. Please join us!

:a vision brought to being:
Join us in the Oakland Hills for an immersive experience unlike any of past forest events-
A portal of light and body, accompanied by spirits moving alongside ambient washes and words from the soul.

“free from all old stories i’ve been told, i walk through the valley of my own shadow”

this experience was a deep remembering. a conscious breath. a continuous decision to surrender to the present and all that is ~ when we let our heart lead, using our mind as a tool, rather than a compass… we are in alignment with the Divine, Source, Self. heart open, heart open, heart open.
how can i feel deeper into this moment? how can i surrender, let go, allow this experience to simply flow through me as it is? when i accept. when i soften. when i am guided.

i listened. that’s what brought me here. when nothing else made sense. a new path is being paved.
i am powerful, i am gifted, i am unique. there are certain gifts we all carry- different from our neighbors, that WE are specifically brought here to offer. to share. this is our dharma, this is our nature. my soul’s been whispering to me for years… yoga. ceremony. ritual. practice. sisterhood. community. release. depth. purpose, meaning. peace. connection to earth, Self, Source, Goddess. 🌀 stories of the past, judgements of myself, fear, insecurity, lack… this held me back from living the life i know i came here to live - my dreams + my dharma. only to destroy it all when i realized the blocks created a fortress around my heart that is no longer protecting me, but caging me in. i’m free.

i thank you mama bali for holding me during this evolution. i thank you to the people who hold this land with such a beautiful reverence, and offer so much love and warmth. i thank you to my sisters that saw me so deeply and held my hand. i thank you to my teachers, and all the yogis before me. soul grateful for this infinite journey.

Progress shots from Paint a Dragon with @stefan.lucas.art 🐲🐲🐲

It was a privilege to have Stefan out on the west coast, sharing his knowledge of both visionary and traditional painting techniques. What a well rounded class!
