Welcome back, amigo. 🖤

For me, the secret is always in the mix. 🎛️
.
A great master can enhance a record, but it can’t fix a mix that isn’t working.
.
One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years: don’t try to make every sound huge on its own. A good mix is about balance, space and making every element work together.
.
Small moves. Good gain staging. Proper EQ decisions. Control the low end. And most importantly — always mix in context.
.
Sometimes removing 2 dB is more powerful than adding 5.
.
The goal isn’t to make every channel sound amazing solo.
The goal is to make the RECORD sound amazing.
.
That’s where the magic happens.

Five tracks, five different moods. From warm early-floor grooves to trippy, mind-bending sounds and timeless classics, here’s what’s been on Paul Sparkes’ rotation lately.

Which one would you add to your playlist?

🎛️💡Where ideas become records.
.
Every mix. Every master. Every tiny detail matters.
.
This is where I spend countless hours shaping records that are built to translate everywhere—from the studio to the biggest club sound systems.
.
No shortcuts. No compromises. Just passion, experience, and an obsession with great sound.
.
Welcome to my world. 🎚️🔥

Life forced me to slow down for a while.
.
Some time ago I suffered a catastrophic foot injury that led to a complex reconstruction surgery. It wasn’t an easy road — complications with the anesthesia and a very painful recovery made this chapter one of the toughest I’ve faced.
.
But little by little, I’m finding my way back.
.
I’ve started returning to the studio, and even if the road to 100% will take time, the journey has begun. Doctors gave me their timelines… but if you know me, you know I’ll try to beat them.
.
The energy is coming back, inspiration too, and new mixes and mastering sessions are already cooking again in Serrano’s Kitchen.
.
Thank you to everyone who sent messages, support and good energy during this time. It really means more than you know.
.
After every storm, the sun always comes back out.
And this time… it feels like a new chapter in my life. ☀️🎶
