Honored to provide bar service for the Siete & Alex Snodgrass (@thedefineddish ) Everyday Eats cookbook pop-up at Assembly Hall! We spent the evening shaking up fresh Clayton’s Margaritas and serving local favorites like @drinkbawi, @rambleraustin, and @williamchrisvineyards Skeletonkey wine, which paired perfectly with @sietefoods bites from the Everyday Eats cook book which recently just went #1 on the NY times bestseller list! ✨

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the bar! 💕

You melon-choly because it’s hot out? We’ve got the cure. 🍉
Say hello to The Watermeli, our July signature cocktail.
It’s sweet, refreshing, and one hundred percent necessary this month for events in the heat. The electrolytes will keep your guests hydrated so they can party longer 😍

Stop shooting in default settings!! It takes 30 seconds to change these and your videos will look 10x better, I promise.

Tips for crisp and clear aesthetic videos-

1. Lock your exposure. Tap your screen where you want the focus, then drag the little sun icon down slightly. Slightly underexposed video looks way more expensive than overexposed video.

2. The “slow and steady” rule: Instead of moving the camera all over the place, pick one intentional movement (a slow push forward, a steady tilt up) and hold it for 4-5 seconds.

3. Wipe the lens: Your screen might look clean, but there’s always lint (for me, cat hair 😅) or fingerprints on the glass. Wipe it! You can buy lens wipes online. DM me and I can send you the link!

4. Move with your whole body. Don’t just move your wrists to pan. Hold your phone tight to your chest and step or pivot from your core for steady, organic movement.

5. Face the light source toward your subject, not your camera. Unless you are shooting food or drinks, in that case ⬇️

6. The food/drink backlight trick: Position your drink or plate so the light source (like a window) is behind it. Then, tap your phone screen on the front of the item and slide the exposure up slightly so it isn’t a dark silhouette. This makes liquids glow beautifully and catches all the texture.

Hope this was helpful! 🫶 Go take some pretty videos and send them to meeee 😍

A night of Shadows In Silk with the best in the business. 🖤

The 2026 @ileaaustin Awards reminded us exactly why Austin’s live event industry is unmatched. The talent in this room? Unreal. The outfits? Pure perfection 🔥Here’s a glimpse into the magic that was created- we are so thankful to have been apart of it 💕

Shadows in Silk completely raised the bar this year. We love being a part of a community that executes immersive design with so much edge and elegance. Cheers to all the nominees, winners, and the brilliant vendor partners who brought this electric night to life! ✨🕷️🔮

Last week, I had the absolute honor of taking over the socials for the Texas Observer’s MOLLY National Journalism Awards, and honestly? I’m still buzzing.

It’s easy to look at everything happening in our state, feel overwhelmed, and just tune it all out. But staying informed isn’t just a civic duty; it’s how we fight back. The Texas Observer has been doing the hard work for decades. Digging deep, questioning power, and telling the real stories of everyday Texans.

We can’t change the narrative if we don’t know the facts. If you want to know what’s actually going down in our state, you need to be reading independent, fearless journalism.

Hit that follow button over at @TexasObserver, dive into their articles, and stay loud Texas! 🤠✨

Mid-week slump? We don’t know her!

I got to check out Mongers Market + Kitchen for the ultimate Wine Down Wednesday. If 1/2 off East Coast oysters and 1/2 off wine doesn’t get you out the door, I don’t know what will. 🦪🍷

I also got a first look at their new cocktail menu! The Mezcalita Roja is an absolute must try if you like a little smoke and sweetness in your glass. 🌶️🍋‍🟩💨

Check them out!
