Prompt 2: self love/self care
I decided to write a love letter to myself... it's not my favorite spread overall but I really needed it ❤️❤️
You guys just keep getting better!! I had trouble picking just four favorites so today we have five but I really wanted to pick more!!
Here are my favorites in order of the post. Please check out all their work!!
1. @_arts_by_isha_ the illustration and the words in your spread are beautiful! I love the bright red color you used and how everything looks so cohesive
2. @servedwithwords this is just so creative and I love the idea of making the prescription instructions also instructions for self love ❤️❤️ your art is always worth the wait!
3. @jamesjoyceeee I only discovered your account a few days ago through the challenge but I've fallen in love with your watercolors! I love the style of this spread and how cozy and intimate it feels.
4. @kirtidhanaiart your portrait is amazing and I love the idea of including self love and self doubt because it is something we a deal with.
5. @hazardoush_rtist the girl collecting stars is just so cute and I love how you did the sky!

This is my work for prompt 1 in my art challenge which is "use one color" 💙 thank you for all your entries yesterday!! They were all so different but beautiful at the same time💖💖 I had such a hard time choosing favorites but I managed to narrow it down to 4 people! 1. @artistically_yourss your painting was absolutely beautiful and the concept was so creative! You are one of my new favorite accounts!!
2. @servedwithwords your scenery had such a cozy and calming vibe. Brown is not an easy color to use for a whole painting and make it look beautiful and alive and you did an amazing job!!
3. @words.chaos I just loved the bright reds that you used for this spread! The colors really made this pomegranate come to life.
4. @_moondai_xx your spread was so playful and so relatable! The doodles on the left are so cute and well done ❤️❤️

When @bananamelonarts came to me with this idea I absolutely loved it. Initially I was thinking about portraying body shaming but I guess I'll save that for another day. Read on if you want to hear my opinion about body positivity ♡

Have you ever hated how you look? Envied a zero size figure? Felt uncomfortable with your body hair? Prayed that your acne would disappear overnight? If you're me then you'd tick off everything. I'd just like to tell who ever is reading this to stop judging yourself. Take a moment to appreciate YOU. Wanting others to appreciate you when you dont appreciate yourself seems a little too greedy. You dont have to gain or reduce weight to fit into a dress. They make them in many sizes. People will still continue to criticize you but that's when self love really comes in handy. Body positivity is really feeling comfortable with what you are.

I chose to portray Vitiligo to convey this message. Vitiligo is a chronic condition which cannot be cured. It's not something that you can hide with make up. What's the solution, you ask? EMBRACE IT. Embrace it like Winnie Harlow for example. Be comfortable in your own skin. I hope everyone learns to love themselves and their skin, acne, body hair, stretch marks, and bodies. ALL BODIES ARE GOOD BODIES. •
