Introducing @saga___cg

Launching today with our first manifesto film — a cinematic exploration of motion, material, light, and form.

Built across product, automotive, fashion, and abstract worlds, the piece became a way for us to define the visual language and creative perspective behind the studio.

More than a reel, this was a chance to experiment, explore, and create something that felt emotionally driven, tactile, and alive.

This is just the beginning.

Some things are better experienced than seen. Drawing from the visual motifs of the modern street culture, we created two installation films to launch the StreetVision line by @nike: an anamorphic reveal of the new Ava Rover shoe inside an LED cube and a projection on an 85-foot wall that wraps the space.

As you move through the installations, you find yourself no longer in a gallery, but instead walking through a city, its streets lined with everyday happenings. A basketball thudding against concrete. Sirens and honks that echo down the block. A streetlamp flickering overhead. The shadows that stretch under the distant city lights. Industrial, gritty, and alive, this sensorial playground beckons you to explore, and immerses you completely in its dreamlike world.

A few behind-the-scene experiments for the IBM z17 film. Visualizing data was a big conceptual pillar—how does the computer process each byte to empower transactions or surface patient information? And how can we depict all that happening in a different chronological dimension (i.e. really fast)? Our favourite kind of sandbox to play in.

Behold: IBM’s most powerful mainframe, the z17. To help introduce this beautiful piece of mechanical muscle to the world, we created a classic :60 to showcase its speed, multi-modal intelligence, and security features. You’ll notice the emphasis on the computer’s industrial design and materiality—a key differentiator against its cloud-based competitors that deserves to be seen and (practically) felt. Our final asset count was over 500K. Kudos to the engineers and designers who make every piece greater than the sum of its parts! 👏

Our approach to making the work feel “human”. A lot of our client partners specialize in highly technical and/or complex disciplines, but we always try to level our understanding with universal metaphors that can resonate with just about anyone. That’s where our love for understanding the behaviour of natural systems comes in—visualizing evolution, disruption, and other states of change on the most fundamental level.
