A hardpost two years in the making: my debut feature film, NIGHTGAME, will have its world premiere September 25 at the Chicago Underground Film Festival. The idea came from Armando and I riffing on a real youtube rabbit hole we were obsessed with. This naturally led to us writing a script, asking Nathaniel if he would play a pickup artist, then shooting the film in one month. I have been handling post on my own since. Now it’s ready for the world.

Here is how CUFF describes it: Two friends spend a kratom-fueled night binge-watching the rediscovered livestreams of Matt Nightgame, an obscure pickup artist whose marathon videos wander the parking lots, strip malls, and forgotten corners of the internet. What begins as ironic entertainment takes a darker turn when one of the women from the streams appears in a missing-person post, transforming late-night doomscrolling into an unsettling investigation. Blurring hangout comedy, digital noir, and conspiracy thriller, Nightgame captures the strange moral territory where spectatorship becomes complicity and online performance begins to resemble evidence. Written and shot for under $5,000 by musician and filmmaker Parker Corey (Injury Reserve/By Storm), this debut feature is a genuinely contemporary underground film—one that inhabits the rhythms, paranoia, and psychic residue of life online rather than merely commenting on them.

The film stars Nathaniel Ritchie, Armando Gabaldon, myself, Anta Diallo, Kiahna Chutich, Dario Resendiz and Pariah Pete. It’s written by Armando Gabaldon and myself. With cinematography by Joriel Cura and Noah Glynn, sound recording by Nathaniel Ritchie, assistant direction by McKay Robinson, associate producer: Nick Herbert, scored by —__–__ (aka Seth Aaron Graham and More Eaze), poster art (which has a bit of pillarboxing here btw thanks to insta’s aspect ratio) by Scott Agustin, and it is produced and directed by myself.

Tickets for both screenings via @chicagoundergroundfilmfest

PS: I am also looking to put together a small theatrical tour early next year 🤞if you have any interest in hosting a screening please reach out to me directly

We’ve swung.

About two years ago this band challenged itself to make hard science of an experiment that had proceeded hitherto only as a miracle. Equipped with new arms and ambitions we strove for something more wild, more calculated, more rogue, steadfast and yet explosive; “self-preceding, not drowning in someone else’s referents”.

We present ‘Un Jazz’ here as our first and truest exigence as a unit, charged with a single fury.

Hiiii💚 “Crisis (Identity)” is my next and last single before my album “MR COBRA” comes out on April 17th🐍 (I think this one is on streaming lol)!!! It’s about how desire and self-exploitation make me think I know more about my body than I actually do. Features @patrickshiroishi who let me sample one of his incredible sax pieces and @n_zanca who did some electronics that I played around with.

Also did a video by Park Seung Won, you can find the link to the video for viewing/download on Craigslist. Thank you to the person I met on Grindr who touched me for the video, you know who you are!!!

Last but not least, Mister Cobra at @performance.space.new.york is this SATURDAY!!! You should be there for a million reasons, one of them being that I made some shirts exclusively for the show 🐍🐍🐍 design by the very best @sethaarongraham 💚💚💚

Anyway thank you so much come join me this Saturday, hope you love the song, hope you love the video
