Where in the world is Dawn Productions?

Well, still in Abilene, still on set!

Over the last year, I’ve 1st AD’d indie shorts, honed my script supervision skills, PA’d a feature film shot right here in Abilene, and watched projects I’ve worked on hit film festivals across Texas.

I also teamed up with some college friends to produce a project that might be our most ambitious yet 👀 Stay tuned for that and other exciting things coming up in the next few months!

Oh, and you can still catch me every weekday morning on KTXS This Morning 😉

A proof-of-concept short film made for the ‘Fresh Meat’ contest by @deadmeatjames and @carebecc

We will not be able to release the public version of the film until after the contest is concluded, but feel free to DM me if you’d like to see a (still rough around the edges) cut of the short sooner!

This was a whirlwind of a project and I’m so happy I got to make it. I can’t wait to share more behind the scenes and for everyone to watch the film!

(*FAKE BLOOD, FAKE PROP WEAPONS*) One thing you might not know about me is that I have cast 30+ film/video projects. I adore actors. I love acting with them. I love watching them work. I love being friends with them. It is one of the few paths (that I know of) where sensitivity is truly viewed as an asset. Working alongside such talented people has taught me so much about my own work as an actress. I will continue to focus more on acting than casting, for now. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to help cast their projects and especially thank you to all the wonderful actors who took the time to submit, audition, read, and work towards all of these special projects. Every casting process looked completely different and I watched every single tape submitted. Your hard work does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Keep up the amazing work. You inspire me to do the same.

The “Theoretical” Music Video is out now on YouTube! Our story of a girl, a boy and a deer told through the lens of directors Harrison Hardy and Sarah Colegrove can be seen on Audrey Price’s official music channel on YouTube. Link in bio!

We had such a profound and unimaginably beautiful journey creating this video. Thank you to all who donated, came to our fundraising shows, sent a supportive dm, and most of all worked on this project. Special thanks to @sethamaradasa for being the best producer a team could ask for, and to @utalentrecords for giving us an amazing marketing/finance crew.
