$Denver, it’s been real. I learned a lot of lessons in Colorado this summer. I got to share my knowledge at the first Sixth Sense workshop at @pathmovemrnt and got to think a lot about this whole parkour identity thing. I suffered a re-injury of a broken ankle in March. Avulsion fracture. The doctor told me I have to re-evaluate my relationship with impact. I told him “that’s gonna be tough Doc, that’s my most consistent relationship!” 😀 I didn’t do much parkour during rehab . I returned to my martial arts roots. I found a school with the exact teacher I needed, and trained combat martial arts for 6 weeks. In secret. To rehab my injuries. Just like Batman. My high school self would be so proud. 😂 So these clips are collected during a time of little PK “training”. Only conditioning and execution. My techniques are rusty but my mental game has leveled up significantly. I employed visualization HEAVILY. I prepped movements mentally and physiologically. I utilized my progressions. And I am able to start returning to parkour at a higher level of awareness than I was at previously. I proved the Sixth Sense method can be applied at a fundamental level to improve performance. Now I can safely return to proper training, with a newly established relationship to impact :) I’m sorry I didn’t interact much with the PK community out there! I needed some mostly solo time. Big ups to my friends who supported me through this rough transition, truly thank you, I am definitely blessed to know you. Here’s to the best years being ahead of us. Next stage: Oakland, CA - to new adventures #parkour #freerunning #movement #adventure #sonic @pathmovement @wingdingspk @flowvault @snobahn @apexmovement @opusparkour @imperialcombatarts$
