We finally had to say goodbye to Susie girl after 14 good years together.

She was truly one of a kind; a fearless retriever, somehow crotchety and sweet at the same time, and a reluctant but ultimately good sister to Cora and Millie after @kelclashae and I got married.

We were lucky to hunt together for 12 solid years, and she even picked up a few birds at 13. I’ll always be grateful for the countless mornings in the field and all the memories made with friends and family during those times.

Still hard after 14 years but I wouldn’t change a thing.
