Looking back, this could’ve easily been one of the worst semesters I’ve had, without a doubt.

On top of the disproven allegations, there are still people who think I’m the worst person they’ve encountered—effortlessly.

Yes, throughout mounting this production, I lost a lot of people.

I questioned myself—was it worth it?

I lost a lot of sleep. I constantly asked if I overcommitted.

Did I take ANINAG so seriously that it became my whole world, ending in disaster?

No.

Because how could you not vow yourself to these passionate, fervent, hardworking people?

For the time being, ANINAG people became my home.

As people left and right cut ties with me,
Without giving me the chance to explain myself,

Without even asking me why—
ANINAG became my family.

Maybe what Pnang CK told me was true.
Maybe I just don’t thrive in friend groups.
Maybe circles really aren’t my thing.

And that’s okay—

Because I know the people who truly know me for me.

People who never saw me as self-seeking.
Who never labeled me easily angered.
Who knew I kept no records of wrongs.
My people—who understand that I don’t delight in evil,
But rejoice in truth.

And for me, that is enough.
chapter closed.

more of the night that was Playback 2023 🪩🍾

a night of many firsts: my first time hosting a college party (which is a fundraiser for a student-led theatre production btw), @sethimmanuel and I’s first time having each other as co-hosts, and my first time hosting an event that truly suits my persona, as Jock Donna 💃

Long overdue tipan posting ౨ৎ
