Seton Hall ‘32

I’m very excited to announce my commitment to play Division 1 baseball at Seton Hall University! First, I would like to thank my parents and family for being there for me throughout this journey and always being my number 1 supporters. I also want to thank Coach Wos and the rest of the coaching staff at Westminster and Matt Burns, Mike Wodnicki and everyone else at @mvpnewengland . Lastly, I want to thank Coach Sheppard, Coach Ramiz, and Coach Moran for providing me with this incredible opportunity! #neverloseyourhustle

I am beyond grateful to announce my commitment to Seton Hall University to continue my academic and athletic career.

I would like to start off by thanking my parents and brother for always supporting me and pushing me to work harder. I would also like to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point. Especially Coach Negrin, Coach Maugeri, Coach Matyas, the entire NJ Rising Rebels organization and Coach Matt De La Rosa. I also would like to thank Coach Weingart and Coach Costa.

Finally I would like to give a big thanks to Coach Moran, Coach Sheppard and the Seton Hall Baseball staff for this amazing opportunity to continue my baseball career.

Go Pirates! 🏴‍☠️. #gopirates

I am honored and excited to make my commitment to play Division I baseball at Seton Hall University.

That said I want to thank everyone who made this possible.
The Blue Line program, team, coaching staff, and Strovink family. Brennan and Kyle are two of the best guys around and were awesome in the recruiting process. Without Eric Strovink, Coach Reichenbach, and Coach Aschettino, I would not have developed into the baseball player and person I am today.
The same goes for the RP baseball program, Coach Anzalone, and Coach Glen. Also Coach Nick and Coach Berto who I not only made memories with, but taught me some of the most important lessons in baseball.
I would like to thank my family for raising me right and doing whatever it takes to help me reach my goals.
Lastly, I am extremely grateful for Coach Moran, Coach Shepherd, and the rest of the Seton Hall staff for giving me this opportunity.

@setonhall_baseball Infielder Gabe Cavazzoni (@gabezoni) made a big jump offensively this year for the Pirates.

The Junior finished the season with SEVEN triples, which ranks 1st in the Big East and 4th in all of Division I.

Congratulations to all of our graduating student-athletes, whom we had the pleasure of honoring at the 2026 Senior Banquet. We also want to give a special congratulations to last night’s award winners: our Senior Scholar-Athletes of the year, academic merit award winners, Pirate MVPs, and Senior Athletes of the Year. Once a pirate, always a pirate 🏴‍☠️
