(not an ad) Stocking the @setpower.usa MC20 12V compressor cooler. It has a 21Qt capacity and uses between 25W to 55W. I’m running it for a few days using the optional add on Setpower 216Wh power bank which will not be able to provide enough power by itself for multiple days but hopefully with some car charging it will make it through this first, short trip.

Adventure doesn’t need to cost 💰💰💰💰

Seriously!

Just grab whatever food and drinks you have in the fridge, gas up the rig, and get out!

Even if it just down the road!

Now I won’t lie I do love my @setpower.usa fridge (not having to worry about ice is a game changer, and worth the extra cost in my mind)

But it’s a nice to have not a need to have!

Just load up what you got and go chase adventure!

Stop overthinking it or thinking you gotta pack a gourmet meal…it’s not that serious!

JUST GET OUTSIDE!!! 👻🤷‍♂️

Calling up a friend for dinner on the trails is always a solid move.

Definitely putting my gear to use and it beats cooking a meal at home when you’ve got everything AND the kitchen sink! @joolcaco as always making life easy when it comes to clean up and having hot water on demand never gets old. We bought their Nomad Kit which includes the sink & faucet, shower splitter and so much more. Being able to draw water from any source also is a huge bonus when that’s all you’ve got available in an emergency. Paired with my @trailedonline Boondocker 14 gallon onboard tank I’ve got plenty of water to get us by!

When it comes to cooking meals having this @rigdsupply Ultra Swing has definitely been a game changer for us. It’s got its own prep and cook surface thanks to their Ultra Table and it offers a lot of swing clearance to set up at an angle or extend it the full 180 degrees. I bought it to have somewhere to mount my spare tire, but it’s proven to be so much more useful than I ever anticipated. Easily one of the most used items in our setup!

My @openroad_4wd 270 awning always does its part to keep me shaded or out of the elements and give me added light when I need. Having a structure on the go always with you is also something I never thought I’d put to use as much as I have but it’s definitely putting in work on the regular.

Keeping the food cold is a job for @setpower.usa and their RF30 Pro I take with me for day runs like this. We also have their DT55 dual zone fridge which is our work horse on long road trips. Having options is definitely great and they are both very affordable options if you’ve been considering a fridge.

None of this would have been possible without the @westinautomotive EXP cap! It is the base of this entire overland setup and allows me to have mounting options while keeping everything protected from the elements at all times. Unlike cheap bed cap options this one doesn’t leak. Everything is well thought out and I’ve got to watch the progression of useful add ons for this get developed. They take customer feedback seriously and have keep improving their product lineup based on that feedback. Definitely a solid cho

Life really is about the journey, not just the destination—especially when you’re literally testing out Journey on the rocks at Trail Hero! Had an absolute blast tackling West Rim. Switching roles with me behind the wheel and Luke stepping into the spotter/cameraman seat has been a huge adjustment for us both. It’s definitely challenged us, but seeing how much we’ve grown stronger together makes every obstacle worth it. Here’s to many more adventures! Shoutout to my girls @moealpenglow and @bucketthejeep for tagging along and all the support! Journey’s Build:
