From a fuse panel no one ever sees… to something that moves. The S2 Alpinista Corsa livery that debuted @wheels_and_waves started with a BMW E28 fuse layout card. Pure function, but unexpectedly beautiful with clean lines, quiet logic, great design hiding in plain sight. Our designers pulled that language forward and let it run through a few different iterations. What was once a map became lines of motion stretching into speed. Part system. Part instinct. Mostly just: “-this would look cool.”

@wheels_and_waves in Biarritz doesn’t ask politely. It pulls you in. At Punks Peak, throttles stayed pinned and the mountain answered back. Rubber burned. Crowds held their breath. And somewhere between the noise and the chaos, the S4 Honcho showed up, tossed some dirt, and walked away with a podium like it belonged there all along. Days blurred into nights. Espresso into red wine. Stories into legends. You weren’t supposed to miss it. Read the full recap on THE PULSE (link in bio)

I often get asked, “What’s the best beginner bike and why?” My answer may surprise you. Think about what a brand new rider is dealing with. You leave the rider course on a 250cc motorcycle, then days or weeks later you’re sitting on a bike that’s often twice as heavy and riding in real traffic for the first time. Cars that don’t see you. Potholes. Debris. Traffic lights. Higher speeds. All while trying to remember shifting, clutch control, braking, balance, and everything else you learned in class. Then there’s getting the bike home. Do you hop on the freeway for the first time and run 70-80 mph, or ask a friend to ride it home? Buy a small bike and you may outgrow it quickly. Buy a big bike and it can be intimidating while you’re still learning. That’s why I think the @livewireev Mulholland and Alpinista make such a strong case for beginner riders. No clutch. No shifting. Rain Mode helps tame throttle response, letting you focus on traffic, road conditions, balance, and learning how a REAL motorcycle feels on the street. They’re light, confidence inspiring, easy to manage, and have enough performance that you can grow WITH the bike instead of growing OUT of it. Yes, range is roughly 70-120 miles depending on how and where you ride. But honestly, that’s what we ride 98% of the time. This weekend @lib_b_ and I took Dan out for his first street ride ever. The Mulholland was the first motorcycle he’d ever ridden on public roads. He did AMAZING I could see his smile the entire ride. When we stopped, he said it felt like riding bicycles around the neighborhood as a kid. That’s when my theory was proven right. #livewire #mulholland #alpinista #beginnerbike #newrider motorcyclelife motorcycles electricmotorcycle

When the bike’s quiet enough to hear your friend talk trash at the stoplight. No comms. No yelling. Just the ride. #LiveWire

Got to combine forces with @trestle and put our expertise of 2-wheel capture to work for @sev.pak , the only creative director who rides as hard as he laughs. VT 2025 definitely did not disappoint. Rode up the Tomahawk as home base and explored all the way up to Lake Superior and the Porcupine mountains with some of the best people around.

Started making the dyna seat. Going for a look that could be stock if you didnt know any better, but better. Combining a few template parts from the original so it looks different. Real leather is way nicer than the crap vinyl that was on there too. #quality #handmade #leathergoods #maker
