🎡🧶 COUNTY FAIR RESULTS ARE IN! 🧶🎡

I recently entered some of my makes in my local county fair, and I’m SO excited about how they did! 🥹💕 There’s something extra special about seeing something you spent hours crocheting sitting there with a ribbon next to it!

I’m still freaking out over this one!!

And then I learned something important about entering the fair… apparently you can only have a maximum of 3 entries in this class. 😅 I had entered five!

My last two were still judged and both received Blue/2nd Place ratings, but unfortunately were disqualified from officially receiving their ribbons because I had exceeded the entry limit. 😭 Lesson learned for next year!

For anyone unfamiliar with county fair ribbons, the colors can be a little confusing! At my fair, they work like this:

💜 Purple = 1st Place / Superior
💙 Blue = 2nd Place / Excellent
❤️ Red = 3rd Place / Good
🤍 White = 4th Place / Fair

And then awards like Best in Class recognize an entry that stands out among the other exhibits in its class. 🏆✨

I’m incredibly proud of how all FIVE of my Yarnlings were judged — even the two that technically couldn’t take their ribbons home. 😂💙

Definitely learned a few things about fair rules this year, and you better believe I’ll be back next year with my THREE carefully chosen entries! 😂🧶
