You are presented with some of the most brilliant colors of corduroy to work with from @shop.sewfultherapy - what do you sew?? Upon seeing the color palette, before these fabrics arrived I had my heart set on making my first pair of Madrone Pants by @sewliberated - the most difficult part for me was figuring out where I wanted to showcase which colors on the design. The pattern itself comes together so easily. My favorite detailing is the tie and the way it loops into the band and then is also exposed. The corduroy gives a rich elegance and is one of my favorite fabric bases to work with. It’s also so luxurious for bag making as well. Easy to work with and can be sewn on a domestic. I used my cover stitch to fell seams. It’s one of my absolute favorite techniques and finishes. This is not a stretch corduroy, so look to use this in woven garment patterns or bag making. Colors used: Marigold, Olive Green and Mustard - you can find 25 other options for pre order on the website 🪡🧵 #sewing

Anyone else feel like there are so many things you want to do… but somehow there’s never enough time to do any of them? 🥲

According to Instagram, I sew all day. 😂

The reality? I’m squeezing sewing, reading, working out, gardening, and all the things I love into the tiny pockets of time between being a mom.

I’m realizing I don’t need hours to make time for myself. Sometimes 15 minutes is enough to feel a little more like me. ❤️
