✨ Behind the Scenes of the 3rd Athens Doll Meet ✨

What you see on the day of the Athens Doll Meet is the magic… What you don’t always see is all the love, time and hard work that happens behind the scenes.

This year, I had the joy of becoming part of the Athens Doll Meet organizing team, and I truly enjoyed every moment of creating and contributing.

A heartfelt thank you to the girls ( @mariadollyverse @kingdom_of_cerise @sewnaya @dollsofmaryden @barbie_lover_222 ) who welcomed me into the team and gave me the opportunity to be part of something so special. It takes so much time, effort and dedication to make an event like this happen — something you can only truly understand when you experience it yourself.

And these girls deserve so much credit! Despite their busy everyday lives, they continue to create an event that has grown into a beautiful tradition and is embraced by collectors from Greece and beyond.

And did you know that almost all the gifts in the Athens Doll Meet bags were handmade with love by the organizers themselves? 🥹💕
They are truly such talented, creative and golden-handed girls! 🧵✨

I hope the Athens Doll Meet has many wonderful years ahead. After all, it’s only three years old — still just a little baby!
Here’s to many more meetings, dolls, friendships, creativity and beautiful memories together!

✨ 3rd Athens Doll Meet ✨

Another beautiful chapter in the story of the Athens Doll Meet was written on September 6th… and this is a day I will always carry in my heart. 💕✨

It was such a wonderful day, filled with smiles, dolls, beautiful encounters, and people who share the same love for the magical world of dolls. I had the joy of seeing old friends, reconnecting with people I hadn’t seen in a while, and, most importantly, meeting new collectors and making new friendships. 🩷

One of the most touching moments for me was welcoming people who travelled all the way to Greece especially for the Athens Doll Meet. ✈️🇬🇷 This truly means so much to me and shows how our little community continues to grow, reaching farther and farther and being embraced by collectors from both Greece and abroad. 🌎🫶

And of course… my own mini me couldn’t possibly miss the occasion! She had her own special day too! She got to take photos with her doll friends, meet new dolls, and enjoy, in her own little magical way, this very special celebration. 💕📸

Looking back at these photos, I realize once again how beautiful it is to create memories around something we love so much. Because, in the end, Athens Doll Meet is not just about dolls. It is about people, friendships, creativity, joy, and the love that brings us all together. 🩷

And now… I am already looking forward to the 4th Athens Doll Meet! Our next gathering will be truly magical, as we will step into an Enchanted Forest… 🧚‍♀️🌲🍄✨

OOAK doll ~ Barbie Looks Andra

We've got a new girl in the Kingdom and she's looking for a name! Any suggestions?

Our our new girl was originally the blonde Looks with the Andra sculpt and pixie haircut, but I have repainted her partially and given her a curvy body. Her hair has been rerooted by dear @apo_georgallis_creations and I have styled it into loose curls.

In her first ever pics with her new look, she is wearing a gorgeous golden top that was made by @sewnaya especially for the gift bag of the 3rd @athens.doll.meet . I love the luxurious fabric, it feels so precious ♡

What was in the gift bag?

In this video you can see all the presents we included in the gift bag of the 3rd Athens Doll Meet!

All the items were carefully selected and handcrafted by our team for our participants ♡

We always make sure to include beautiful doll clothes (because a doll can never have too many), accessories and miniatures for our dolls, as well as something practical such as a doll carry case and ring light (last year) or a doll organizer case (this year). And of course, we always choose a bag that reflects the year's theme (this year it was "glamour"), has enough space to fit all our doll stuff and looks good on our shoulder!

As you may have noticed from the amount of handmade work that goes into these bags, we start crafting many months before the actual event, and we devote a lot of our time to creating the beautiful things you have in your hands.

Would we change that? No way! We LOVE making things for you, pouring our heart and creativity into these bags, and showing our love and gratitude for your support in a tangible way. We hope you love the bag you get every year and we promise it will always surprise you ♡♡♡

This year's gift bag included:

1. A two-piece outfit in gold with earrings, bracelet and purse, by @sewnaya

2. A mermaid-style dress in metallic colours with matching bracelet, by @mariadollyverse

3. A fitted dress with tassles in sand colour, with earrings, by @dollsofmaryden

4. A mini magazine and two ice creams by @dollsofmaryden

5. A white fur shawl with a brooch by @kingdom_of_cerise

6. A doll bag and metallic coloured high heeled shoes, by @barbie_lover_222

7. Traditional "fiogkakia" sweet pastry and "tsipouro" for the humans and mini versions for the dolls, by @mariadollyverse

8. A tiered necklace on a miniature bust, a beaded necklace and a case filled with handmade jewellery, by @letsplay.dolls

9. A miniature "Barbie the movie" video tape and vase with flowers, by @letsplay.dolls
