Come join the dark side!

This Saturday marks my debut VJ-gig in Oulu, the culture capital of Europe 2026. And what would be a better way to kick things going in my soon-to-be new hometown, than having an all-nighter of dark synthwave to blast some he4ty visuals to?

This genre holds an extra special place within me, as it was the one that made electronic music click for me, once and for all. If you're not familiar, let's put it in a nutshell. Whether you dig of heavy metal, Italo-disco, industrial, house, goth rock or horror movie & video game soundtracks for example, there's a high possibility this music will kick your ass and then some. The curators of the evening will bring you a taste of every side in this soundscape and I have ofc taken my time to perfect the visuals also. Quality guaranteed.

I made this little "beforemovie" (Patent pending) for the event in tribute to Seth Ickerman's "Turbo Killer", an incredible music video for Carpenter Brut. This was the very first dark synth-piece I heard a decade ago, and also the one that got me hooked for life in the works of this artist. Highly recommended watch if you're new to this genre.

Also, before someone comes whining about AI...This piece was made using only local open source models with ComfyUI and Touchdesigner, so no fresh water wasted nor destroying the planet involved. Up for you to decide, if it's slop or not.

Grab your best dancing shoes & 80's swag and come have a blast with us, tickets are only 7€.

So welcome to the d4nger zone where the he4t is on!
