There is nothing like those friends that inspire you to be your highest self, who open you up to worlds you have never known, the ones who know where you have been and know where you are going. Who finish your sentences and make you laugh in the midst of tears. The friends that no matter where in the world, you are connected.. soul friends.

This past year I’ve had some of my nearest and dearest friends move away and also had some friends show up for me in such sweet ways. There really is nothing like that soul friend connection, it’s rare and when you find it hold them close .

Lately I feel like a broken record, expressing my gratitude. However, in these moments, in the silence in between I find myself feeling nothing but gratitude. Gratitude for my family, friends , for our health and for the gift to create and give back.

This weekend we will be gathering for the Solstice bizarre in Ojai for a small intimate outdoor soirée with @plantascompass

It is a gift to be able to bring a small curation of Moona Star to the Valley, as Ojai holds a special place in my heart. This is where my love and I said our sacred vows to one another 10 years ago. Whenever we go back I feel like the land whispers sweet reminders of our vows to one another and holds an energy that heals and protects our hearts.

Whatever you are doing this weekend, make sure you hold the people you love close.
