POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Greetings from the balcony of the University of San Francisco’s downtown campus at 101 Howard Street, where I’m pursuing my Master of Public Administration (MPA)! 🎓📚

I’m Pearci “PJ” Bastiany III, candidate for District 10 Supervisor, martial artist, entrepreneur, and community advocate. I’m excited to bring my public administration studies and research into the work of solving real problems facing San Francisco.

From affordable housing and public safety to economic development, transportation, and environmental justice, I believe our city’s challenges deserve thoughtful research, innovative solutions, and community-driven leadership.

And sometimes, the best inspiration comes from simply taking a moment to appreciate the world around us. 🌿✨ With the Bay Bridge as my backdrop, some of my favorite sightings from this balcony are the hummingbirds and dragonflies reminding me to slow down, stay curious, and appreciate the beauty of our city.

San Francisco has so much potential. I’m excited to keep learning, researching, and working toward a future where our communities can thrive.

Public service meets public administration. Research meets real-world solutions. Let’s build a better San Francisco—together! 🌉💙

🥊🔥 FROM THE DOJO TO FIGHT NIGHT!
MAFH Security is proud to sponsor New Money Fight Club 7 in Oakland, California, on Saturday, October 17, 2026! 💪🏾

As CEO of MAFH Security and a lifelong martial artist, Pearci “PJ” Bastiany is taking his training from the dojo to the ring. This kickboxing pattern offers a glimpse into the discipline, technique, and dedication that define the martial arts journey. 🥋

And the journey continues! 👊🏾 CEO PJ is scheduled to compete in his first amateur kickboxing match on November 14 in Santa Cruz, California! Just 11 days after the November 3 election, this milestone reflects how public service, entrepreneurship, and martial arts can come together in one purpose-driven mission.

At MAFH, we believe martial arts develops far more than fighters. It builds discipline, confidence, resilience, focus, and respect—qualities that strengthen leadership, business, public safety, and everyday life.

🥊 NEW MONEY FIGHT CLUB 7
📅 Saturday, October 17, 2026

🎥 REAL QUESTIONS. REAL CONVERSATIONS. YOUR VOICE. YOUR VOTE. 🗳️🔥
Sharing clips from my answers at the District 10 Candidate Forum hosted by Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) and 3rd Street Youth Clinic at the Southeast Community Center!

As we approach Election Day on November 3, I’m proud to reflect on this campaign journey and the opportunities to discuss the future of District 10 with community members.

As a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., one principle continues to resonate with me:

🗳️ “A VOTELESS PEOPLE IS A HOPELESS PEOPLE.”

Civic engagement doesn’t end when the forum is over. It continues when we register, get informed, learn about the candidates and issues, and make our voices heard at the ballot box.

📬 Vote-by-mail ballots are arriving! Make a plan to vote, review your ballot, and return it according to the official instructions.

🗳️ RANKED-CHOICE VOTING 101:
San Francisco voters can rank candidates in order of their own preference in applicable ranked-choice contests:
🥇 Rank your first choice 1.
🥈 Rank another candidate 2 if that reflects your preference.
🥉 Rank another candidate 3 if you choose.

You can rank additional candidates if you wish. Ranking is your decision, so review the candidates and make the choices that best reflect your priorities.

Let’s make sure our communities are represented—not just in conversations, but at the ballot box!

FIRST OF ALL… WE VOTE! 🗳️✊🏾

📅 Election Day: November 3, 2026
📢 Share this reel. Start a conversation. Encourage someone to make a voting plan!

📣 TWO DISTRICT 10 CAMPAIGN EVENTS. ONE FULL DAY OF COMMUNITY CONVERSATION! 🗣️☕🔥

Tuesday, October 13, I’m hitting the ground running with TWO opportunities to connect with District 10 residents, listen to community concerns, and discuss the future of our neighborhoods!

☕ EVENT 1: COFFEE & CONVERSATION — D10 CANDIDATE FORUM

🕗 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
📍 Southeast Community Center
1550 Evans Avenue, San Francisco

Hosted by Citywide HUD Alliance, SF Minority Building Trades Contractors Collective, From the Heart, and The Council, this resident-driven forum is about replacing 60-second soundbites with genuine, two-way dialogue on:

🏘️ Housing & displacement
🔨 Local contracts & building trades
💼 Jobs & economic opportunity
🤝 Our community’s future

Coffee and light refreshments will be served. Bring your questions and join the conversation!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 EVENT 2: DISTRICT 10 CANDIDATE FORUM — CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES

🕠 Food served 5:30 PM – 6:15 PM
🗣️ Forum begins at 6:30 PM
📍 Thurgood Marshall Academic High School
45 Conkling Street, San Francisco

Join us for a nonpartisan conversation about the needs of children, youth, and families, the nonprofits that support them, and how we can build a San Francisco where every young person and family can thrive. Childcare is available with advance registration.

As a community advocate, entrepreneur, martial artist, and USF MPA graduate student, I believe public service means showing up, listening to residents, and engaging in meaningful conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing our communities.

Two forums. Two important conversations. One District 10. 💪🏾

📅 Tuesday, October 13 — I hope to see you there!

🗳️ Election Day is November 3. Stay engaged, get informed, and make your voice heard!

🗳️ A VOTELESS PEOPLE IS A HOPELESS PEOPLE. 🗳️
As an Alpha, I believe deeply in the importance of civic engagement, voter education, and making sure our communities are represented at the ballot box. “A Voteless People Is a Hopeless People” has been an Alpha Phi Alpha national program since the 1930s.

📬 Vote-by-mail ballots are arriving this week.

San Francisco uses ranked-choice voting in several local races. When voting in a ranked-choice contest, voters can rank candidates 1st, 2nd, and 3rd based on their own choices.

So when your ballot arrives:

✅ Open it.
✅ Read the candidate statements and ballot materials.
✅ Make your choices.
✅ Rank your selections if you choose.
✅ Return your ballot or make a plan to vote in person.

Don’t sit this election out. Your voice belongs in the process.

First of All… We Vote. 🖤❤️
A Voteless People Is a Hopeless People.
