DAC spring show!

This was my last time taking photos at a DAC show and honestly the most meaningful. And here’s why:

This semester my grandpa was a basket recipient.

My grandpa was diagnosed with cancer the Monday after the Fall DAC show. He has handled his diagnosis with a lot of jokes and poorly timed humor. In the past couple of months he has been in and out of the ER for the cancerous fluid build up in his abdomen, lungs and problems with his heart. My grandpa, an army vet, is one of the most stoic and brave men I know. It has been hard to see him in a place where I can not help. I have hope and faith that the Lord can bring him healing.

His last round of chemo will be the week of my graduation and after that they will reevaluate. I pray that there has been progress and the Lord has brought healing. I have gotten to work with DAC for the last three years and the love they have for this work has never meant more to me than it does now.

I’m beyond grateful to be apart of DAC this semester. DAC State of Mind was a blast to dance in. Raising money and awareness for people who are going through the unimaginable is what we are all about! Thank you guys for an amazing semester 6 and I can’t wait for the next show. $22,888 raised so far and we’re still going strong!
