🏀❤️ When athletes step off the court and into the community, amazing things happen.

Today, the MEM Foundation, alongside COR Houston, brought together an incredible group of volunteers for two hours of meaningful service — and the impact was BIG:

🥫 192 food packs assembled
🧽 25 cleaning packs prepared
⏱️ 2 hours of teamwork and service
🏀 Student-athletes represented by Lamar High School and Northshore High School

We’re proud of these young men for showing that leadership isn’t just about what happens on the basketball court. It’s about showing up, serving others, and making a difference in the community. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, packed, organized, and gave their time today. Together, we’re proving that community + teamwork = impact.

✨ Built lasting partnerships with employers and school districts
✨ Continued growing through every challenge

Thank you to every student, family, mentor, volunteer, donor, and partner who has been part of this journey. We're so grateful to celebrate 8 years with you. 🥳

***SAVE THE DATE!*** JUNE 17, 2026
✨ HEALTH IS WEALTH — LITERALLY. ✨

Join us for another Plugged-In Menstrual & Vaginal Health Class in partnership with BakerRipley and with integrated financial literacy support from Regions Bank 💚

This class is about more than periods. It’s about understanding how knowledge of your body directly impacts your confidence, healthcare decisions, school attendance, workplace productivity, relationships, and long-term financial wellbeing.

Far too many people spend money reacting to preventable issues simply because they were never taught about their bodies. Through this workshop, we’re helping participants build both health literacy AND financial literacy by connecting the dots between preparation, prevention, wellness, and smart financial habits.

🩸 What to expect:
✔️ FREE menstrual cup
✔️ Menstrual & vaginal health education
✔️ Hands-on demonstrations with realistic models
✔️ Safe, judgment-free discussions
✔️ Financial literacy conversations with Regions Bank
✔️ Practical tips on planning, budgeting, and reducing monthly menstrual product costs

📍 BakerRipley Sharpstown Campus
📅 Wednesday, June 17, 2026
⏰ 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Thank you to Regions Bank for helping support conversations that empower our community through both health and financial education. 💚

Because when people are informed, they make stronger decisions for their bodies, their futures, and their finances.
