This post comes 23 years in the making. I first met @craiglieberman_42 at the 2002 Homestead Speedway 2 Fast 2 Furious casting call. I had brought my S14 but had very little hopes it would be selected for the film as it was nowhere near as modified as it is today. Craig & I met & chatted maybe 5-10 mins. Several months later I heard they were filming a scene for the movie not far away from where I was. I pulled up in my S14 & spotted an R34 GTR, MK4 Supra, FD RX-7, & a Pink S2000 from a distance. Security was tight blocking off all connecting streets. I walked up to a security guard & asked “Is Craig here?” as if we were old friends. The guy got on the radio, says “Craig, there’s a guy here that says he knows you” & I just pause trying to play it cool. “Ok, let him in” Craig calls back over the walkie. My heart is pounding as I am in shock at what just occured. Craig greets me, I was 100% sure he had no memory of our very brief encounter at the casting call & was just being super cool about letting me in anyway. He spends the next hour or two showing me all around the cars & explaining the bridge jump scene they’re setting up. No actors were on set. We hung out & talked about the first FATF & how he did his best to fix the dialog & cars chosen. I snapped pics of all the cars with my digital camera. It was my first time seeing an R34 GTR in person. I promised not to share the photos or ruin the movie. We took a quick photo together & I went on my way so he could finish working. I kept my word & held onto these now priceless photographic memories. Fast forward to 2025 when we reunited at @officialnopitour Atlanta just recently thanks to an invitation from my good friend Gabriel @fastandfuriousintegra I waited until Craig was done signing autographs for fans to show him the picture we took then & said “Remember this guy?” to which Craig replied “The 240 Guy from Miami!” & gave me a big hug. I still had the Autocannon T-Shirt I was wearing that night & brought it to NOPI in hopes that we could recreate our photo from the movie set all those years back. Thank you Craig for your kindness, for all you’ve done for the car community with the fast franchise.😁🤙

POP THE HOOD Interview Series Episode of @century_and_friends NASCAR R33 GTR is on the SFL240SX YT Channel. In this Episode, you’ll meet Okini & get an in depth look at his Days of Thunder Themed 1995 R33 Skyline GTR. This was my first attempt at doing an on the spot episode during an event & it was tough. This was filmed at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour stop in Tampa, FL which are held in the parking lots of a Walmart. Okini arrived as the venue was running out of space so on the fly he got parked next to some Police cars so he could participate in the event. The spot was cool but the birds were insanely loud & it being an active event there were spectators walking in & out of the frame while we filmed. We still made it happen & all in one take so please cut me some slack in the comments. Thank you very much to @seafoamsilvia for being my cameraman on this video. Hope you all enjoy the video, please let it play all the way to the end I need every bit of watch time I can get!

@larry_chen_foto visited Miami recently & did a fantastic feature of the very well deserved @rmcmiami Danny did a great job showing his vast automotive knowledge & sharing the historical cars he helps give a second life to with RMC. After the RMC feature, we squadded up for a night drive around Miami & had a blast sharing Miami’s car culture with Larry once again!
