6 months ago, I started running. Today, I picked up my first medal and finished my 4th half marathon. 🏅

Huge shoutout to @runclubabuja for hosting an incredible event for a great charity cause.

I even managed to break my PR at 2:03:00, sharing the road with friends.

Lesson learnt: You can literally just decide to do something and make it happen.

"Men don't cry."

That's what Person 2 believed.

What followed was a real conversation between two members of our community—one that challenged years of conditioning about what it means to be a man.

For too long, many men have been taught that strength means suppressing emotions, staying silent, and carrying every burden alone.

We disagree.

We believe true strength is being honest about how you feel.
It's asking for help when you need it.
It's having difficult conversations.
It's letting yourself be human.

This Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, do the hard thing:

🌱 Touch grass.
☕ Talk to people.
❓ Ask questions.
🫂 Check in on your friends.
💬 Share what's really going on.

We were never meant to do life alone.

It’s a reminder that losing a spouse is one of the deepest pains anyone can experience, and we truly wouldn’t wish it on anybody.
But to every single mother, single father, widow, or widower fighting quietly to keep their family together... please don’t give up.
Your strength matters more than you know.
Your children may not understand it today, but one day they will look back and realize you carried an entire world on your shoulders for them.
Dad, we still miss you every day.
