a beautiful few days of October magic with @shacks.co 🤍

we spent a weekend in ‘Hawthorn’, watching the sunset from an off-grid sauna, sketching in late afternoon light and waking up to misty Autumn magic 🍂

gifted stay - thank you so much @shacks.co ✨

our perfect little off-grid cabin for the weekend 🏡🍂

📍 Castor @shacks.co, Wales
🐾 dog friendly

after long days of hiking, coming back to this cosy little spot was the absolute highlight 🤎

from 360 countryside views, the comfiest bed, and the most relaxing outdoor bath, this cabin was truly perfection.

milo settled in straight away and, as you can probably tell, made himself very much at home 😴🐾

if you’re looking for a dog-friendly stay in wales with walks right on the doorstep, this one’s a dream ✨

save this for your next trip 📌

do you dream of this too? 🌿 new video on my channel!

My new cinematic vlog from the mountains and little rivers of North Wales is, I think, a spell:

✨ for a life that allows us to be our strange, whimsical selves, that feels like running away with the forest fairies, like wild swimming in a hidden mossy glen and sleeping in a cottage.

are you making this wish too? ❤️💌 this to another dreamer!

A stay to remember 🤍

Reminiscing on a very hot and sweaty few days at @shacks.co back in June.

Who knew this would be the last holiday we would take with our sweet girl Eva. We knew something wasn’t quite right, but never in a million years did we think we only had a few weeks left with our perfect old lady.

I’ll forever cherish this time spent lazing around in a field in Llangollen, watching both of our pups wander around, sniffing everything in sight and sleeping by our sides around the campfire.

a reminder that “healing” isn’t always big and loud and impressive, but often something that naturally emerges when we slow down enough to allow the wiser, kinder, more authentic part of us to come up to the surface.

it’s often in the unseen, micro moments moments of daily life when you notice a pattern and choose something different.

or when you give yourself the space and time to actually feel. to feel the both the discomfort and the beauty that exists within ordinary life that we are moving too quickly to see

or in not knowing and being okay with the not knowing

or in connecting to that child like part of you that is silly and playful and creative

This waterfall cabin stay was perfect. Top notch cabin location and luxuriously comfy.
It was a proper switch-off break. I was lulled to sleep by the song of the waterfall through the open window behind my head, in the comfiest bed. An outdoor bath in hot peaty water from the spring and just the odd sheep and dippers as neighbours.
Solo with Seth 🐾
I’m besotted by Mira, thank you so much @shacks.co 🥰

October competitions are now live!

After our recent poll, we’ve added more mil kit, a getaway, clothing and footwear.

We’re growing with each month, and as we grow, the prizes will get better and more frequent.

Thank you to everyone who’s signed up, liked and shared our posts or told a friend about us.

Good luck…it pays to be a winner!

I was not expecting this place to be as perfect as it was 😍 ad

We love a good glamp but usually the pods we stay in are on a camp site or in a row of pods. And usually, they don’t really have windows. And then you have… this 🤯

Spent pretty much the whole weekend staring out of the window at the view 😅but who wouldn’t when you’re perched in a cosy cabin on a Welsh hillside?!

The weather wasn’t on our side for big adventures, but we did manage some shorter walks around the rain, and enjoyed a cosy afternoon doing not much watching the rain roll over the hills 🥰
