i’ve seen some shit. the muddy, dirty waters of our kind. i’d say it changed me, but i don’t think it did. i think it just woke up something in me that was always there.

i started making music as a containment for rage. ⏰ ❌ STOP just because your world is falling apart. when too much is happening, when emotions are at an all-time high and my own physical starts malfunctioning, i release. i turn what i can’t carry into something i can create.

somewhere along the way, i think my coping became its own kind of addiction. but i’ve always known how to turn one thing into another. pain into expression. chaos into creation. the ugly into something worth looking at.

all i know is alchemy.

witnessing my second hosted photography mixer take shape in real-time brought me a unfathomable amounts of joy! each one of you played a pivotal role in making this event possible. from those who showed up to the optional donators who helped out financially and even those who’ve spread the world, I’m incredibly blessed to be amongst the best of the best. I hope you all made new friends and created profound memories, as this is only the beginning of the journey that I aspire to take my community along with on the ride… this was something so special. These were a part of an impromptu photo shoot I did with @shadesoflight42 while in NY for FW. The cool thing about this shoot was he had finished shooting some models and I was like, "Hey, do you want to shoot outside?" He was like,, "Sure" and we did it. That's the dope thing about NYFW, you can just grab someone up and create.
