I cut my teeth running nightclubs in London. So any time I can be on a dance floor I’m happy. Today on Santa Monica Pier @daybreakerla produced a great event. Live house music + community service (save the bay.org )+ free coffee, free bagels and free froyo? Best Sunday morning I’ve had in years. My heart is full.

I never met Christopher but he was a young man who suffered with cancer and died at the age of 20. These are his words: “it’s a conscious choice to focus on the good.” “Happiness is not a limited resource.” As we walk through life today, let’s ponder these words and reflect on the choice we have to be happy🌷
Thanks Christopher 💙

About one of my paintings that will be up: "

The Freedom To Be":
the future of Iranian women imagined as a paradise where they can embrace the liberty to be anything they desire, cast off their veils, to do as they please, to breathe deeply, and to just exist as they are.

Last night we took mum on a surprise outing. We had a lovely dinner at Bacardi on W. 3rd Street, followed by a candlelight concert at Immanuel Presbyterian Church . The pianist played Chopin - a family favorite as my father played Chopin all the time. Mum had a lovely time and couldn’t stop talking about the experience all the way home!! Thanks to my husband who accompanied us and took such care of us, to Kelly Moran who gave us the idea, and to my big sister Sara who was originally was coming with us, but was able to go to West Africa instead. It was a wonderful, special evening and I am grateful!
