Listen there’s something about being in a room full of LOVE…..The kind you can actually feel! 🥹❤️ That’s what this celebration was!!

Watching everyone come together to celebrate @jahmedicine was beautiful. To see the impact someone has had on so many people, and to see that love come full circle…🙌🏾❤️🥹🙏🏾✨🤌🏾

Sometimes you gotta stop and really take it all in. The people, the moments, the connections, the MAGIC that happens when the right people come together.

My spirit is still full off of that✨

Happy Birthday, my brother! 🙌🏾✨🙏🏾❤️

This new year is about to be CRAZY!!!! Let’s go!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

my next naked event is at @byasleon on friday, october 9th.

it’s hard to put what @naked.mic is into words. what i usually say is it’s an open mic night that reclaims art as a spiritual and healing practice. it’s a space for community to practice vulnerability, intimacy, and curiosity with one another.

i think it more than that though — something felt in that deep place where words can’t reach. naked. it much ritual than structure, with each one being shaped by the people who attend that night. at least, that’s what i think. if you’ve ever attended — how would you describe naked.?

all art is welcome | link in bio for more info.

#Postcards of Enjoyment. Summer ‘26. Tun it back. This may be the most daring I’ve been with the travel budget, but heyyyy, God will provide o 🙏🏾🥹 Abundance knows my name!

A street vendor selling mango or umbona (freshly boiled) also knows my name. I ate (and laughed) to my heart’s content.
(I also wore the heck out of my @fenoellittlecaribbean mango tee.)

Jamaica, Jamaica 🇯🇲 You are something else! Your food, your people. But the budget needed to be… just a toops more. We celebrated the most youthful 76-year-old I know. There she is, dancing.

I’ve outgrown Savannah, but we expats know how to trigger each other. Ahem @saffasinnyc 🤣

Forever grateful to creative peeps in Joburg. You guys inspire me to no end @thamidish @phattchops @rolie_nikiwe @millsmoabi @jodyfjacobs. And @theglobalist I had to share the moment with a legend.

Thank you for a wonderful summer of song @lushsongcollective @mai_elka 🌺

Truth is, I celebrated my birthday BIG.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and shared this beautiful night with me at Joe’s Pub. I felt surrounded by love. Real love was in the air.

Thank you to all the musicians who shared the stage with me, to everyone who attended, to all the collaborators who helped make it happen, and to my family for holding me down, always.

One thing about me is that sometimes I’ll challenge you by giving you the platform. Giving you the stage. Giving you the mic. Giving you the opportunity to let it out. That’s the person I am and that’s how I show love. I believe in creating space for others to shine, even when it means pushing ourselves a little outside of our comfort zones.

And as I celebrated with a concierto, trust and believe, I felt all that love come right back to me.

I’m blessed. I’m grateful. I’m ready.

Let’s go make more music.

Book meeeee for showsss 🪘🥂 📸@rockrockplanetrock
