☢️ #TapClipOfTheDay:

A Geiger counter is a portable electronic device used to detect and measure ionizing radiation, such as beta particles, gamma rays, and X-rays. When the device detects radiation, invisible radioactive particles or rays enter a gas-filled tube and create a burst of electrical current that the device turns into a visible number or an audible click.

If anyone in this audience at @shakethegroundcomp Nationals happened to have a Geiger counter when they were watching Lindsey Geiger (@lindsey.geiger4) perform her solo, the device would be clicking so loudly and so rapidly, it would be indistinguishable from the clicking tap sounds coming from Lindsey on stage. Why, you ask? Because this solo of hers was RADIOACTIVE. ☢️🔥

Lindsey, by the way, dances at @jeannelynndance in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Take a few minutes and watch this excerpt, and see why Lindsey is a whole vibe! 🔥

Repost from @shakethegroundcomp
✨ Lindsey Geiger from @jeannelynndance created a whole vibe with her tap solo at STG Nationals! 👞🔥

From the moment she hit the stage, Lindsey brought effortless style, incredible musicality, and a personality that made this performance completely her own. Every sound, rhythm, and detail added to the energy she created!

🎶 Cool, confident, and undeniably Lindsey—this one had us hooked!

Wrapping up another summer creative season at Joffrey Ballet School @joffreyschool. With only a few weeks left before Fall begins, this also marks 10 years since I joined Joffrey full-time; and approximately 14 years since I first began designing for this organization as a client.

Grateful to keep creating, and telling the Joffrey story.
