YO, YO—CONGRATULATIONS TO MY YOUNG BOY, SHAMAR HEARD! 🦁🔥

Man, this one means something.

The journey didn’t go exactly how you planned it—but sometimes the setback is the setup.

SETBACKS ARE MEANT FOR COMEBACKS.

You stayed ready.
You stayed working.
You stayed believing.

And now the journey continues at East Texas A&M.

Shamar, this next chapter is about more than getting another opportunity. It’s about showing everybody what happens when talent meets resilience. Run with that chip on your shoulder. Compete like you have something to prove. And every time you step on that track—

MAKE THEM SAY YOUR NAME.

Congratulations, my boy. Go handle business.

ONE PRIDE.
ONE PURPOSE.
ONE LION.

Happy Father’s Day, Ross. 😂

And real talk, congratulations.

🏆 Highest men’s finish of your tenure.

🏆 Highest women’s finish of your tenure.

📈 Best combined NCAA finish for the Tennessee men and women in roughly 30 years.

🚀 Signed one of the top recruits in the country.

🎓 And your son signed with Wake Forest.

That’s one heck of a year, my guy.

Now…

I was scrolling through all the celebration photos, championship photos, recruiting photos, signing photos…

And somehow I found pictures with everybody else’s kids. 😭

But I couldn’t find one with your own.

So naturally, I stepped in to help.

Public service.

Fatherhood support.

Volunteer family photographer. 😂

All jokes aside, congratulations to RJ, Ross, the Tennessee men, the Tennessee women, and the entire staff.

Y’all had a historic season.

Now go get that extension, my boy. 😭

As for me…

They’re probably gonna sue me for this.

Actually…

Wait.

Too late. 🍿

Our athletes shared the verses that guide their mindset, their discipline, and their purpose.

We want to hear from you too.

What verse gets you through the tough days?
