For the second year, @industryslc felt like home for @wasatchmountainfilmfestival’s programming. Their beautiful theater space and central Granary District location make it an incredible place for the kind of walkable, community-centered festival experience we’re working to build. We hosted our happy hour there, with beautiful Americana-inspired tunes from @dr00ski and @maevebarnum , followed by our final screening blocks of the festival. Each one felt like a shared conversation with a room full of people who genuinely cared. A huge thank you to the team at @industryslc for being such incredible partners, and to every filmmaker whose work filled their theater. We’re stoked to keep growing alongside the local businesses, artists, athletes, and creatives helping shape this festival into something special. This is just the beginning :) 📸: @montanophoto 📍 @industryslc / The Granary District, SLC

Some of our favorite evenings don’t make it to the screen — they happen around the table. The filmmaker dinner was everything we hoped it would be: 150 filmmakers, storytellers, and collaborators sharing a meal, trading ideas, and doing the slow, wandering kind of conversation that doesn’t happen anywhere else. This is why we built the Wasatch Mountain Film Festival. Not just to show great work — but to make space for the people behind it to actually connect. Thank you to everyone who came, stayed late, and made it feel like home.🏔️ 📍 @IndustrySLC, [The Granary District, SLC] 📸: @montanophoto #WasatchMountainFilmFest #FilmCommunity #OutdoorFilm #MountainCulture #FilmmakerDinner WMFF

Stoked to have written and edited this year’s 2026 @wasatchmountainfilm festival trailer. One of our biggest goals over the past couple years at @wasatchmountainfilm has simply been to elevate the quality of the films being submitted and programmed. This year honestly felt like a big step forward for us. Between the incredible work coming out of Utah and the films submitted from filmmakers around the world, the level of cinematography, rich storytelling, emotional depth felt stronger than ever. Having great footage made pulling this last-minute edit together way easier :) Huge thanks to all the filmmakers who trusted us with their work: @bchendrix @alexwebb @bucknaked @dylanwineland @rushsturges @skiparmstrong @codytownsend @nomadikmotion @rach4thesky @hadleymichaels @izlamottephoto @ellawarnick @angepercival @darcythedirector @grace.t.s.p @allieoutside @tomattwater @danny_schmidt @zeppelinzeerip @krisroller Also, props to the team that helped make this festival what it was. We focused this year on doing less things really well, and I think we did just that @aktnmedia @shandikk @therealphilhessler @stuartderman @heather_archuleta1 @shanebaldwin5 Thanks to our amazing musicians @aokelly @nicholasaccount @sam_shortpants @dr00ski and afterparty DJ @henrystorm And lastly, this festival could’ve never happened without our amazing panelist of local judges @alexigidbashian @rach4thesky @seanslobodan @functionalfilms @sandrasalvas @bennett_duchin @asheee_bee and the incredible volunteer work of @chrisburton333 @seanslobodan @macrheamo @brianna__caitlin @nctayto @caydenturnbow (sorry if I missed you) Written by: @oster.jacob Edited by: @oster.jacob VO: @hellolucid

Huge gratitude to the crew who brought this year’s #ultimatemountainathlete to life. Long days, thin air, and unpredictable weather were met by an elevated production. Thank you for the energy, the resilience and the trust, from start to finish. @outsidewatch
