This camp has been the highlight of my summer every single year since middle school. It’s where I first realized that God desires a personal relationship with me. I was saved at camp, made some of my closest friendships, and found a community that embraces me with open arms, encouraging me to grow in my faith and become a disciple to others.

While every year at camp is special, this one holds a unique and lasting place in my heart. I experienced so many new things like time in solitude with God, hearing Him speak directly to me, playing new games, meeting new people, facing challenges I’d never encountered before, and sharing my testimony for the very first time. I also had the honor of leading an incredible group of girls (alongside an amazing new friend), whose openness and vulnerability were truly a gift…something I could have only prayed for.

To end an already unforgettable week, I was baptized by a former leader and dear friend, who is so special to me, and a role model I have looked up to for many years. I am beyond grateful for my friends, my mentors, and most importantly, for everything God has done and continues to do in my life.
I will continue to put my life in God’s hands and shine His glory in everything I do!!
